- Dopo la grande mostra personale organizzata nel 2008 da Richard Peduzzi, Giuseppe Penone torna a Villa Medici con un progetto ideato appositamente per le stanze storiche del cardinale Ferdinando de’ Medici. Dal 16 dicembre 2021 al 27 febbraio 2022; l’artista presenta tre opere emblematiche della propria poetica: Vaso (1986) in ceramica e gesso, Il vuoto del vaso (2005) in terracotta bianca e radiografie, e Avvolgere la terra – vaso (2005) in terracotta bianca e gesso, e cinque sculture in terracotta e bronzo dal titolo Terra su terra – bacile (2005).
