IRIDE - The Made in Italy satellite constellation.
One of Europe’s most ambitious Earth Observation satellite programmes, launched on the initiative of the Italian Government under the management of the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency (ASI), to help Public Administrations combat hydrogeological instability and wildfires, protect coastlines, and monitor critical infrastructure, air quality and weather conditions.
As part of the programme, SITAEL - Angel Company's space division - is building four PLATiNO satellites with hyperspectral optical instrumentation at its headquarters in Mola di Bari.
