Designed for timber construction companies aiming for maximum production efficiency, Oikos XS performs both high-speed operations, such as cutting, and 6 faces machining on beams and structural elements, ensuring high precision while helping reduce production times, waste and manual activities.

The machine can also be integrated into production lines with automatic loading/unloading systems and storage solutions, enabling an even more efficient and automated workflow. Live demos highlighted how SCM technology supports the needs of manufacturers of prefabricated walls and lightweight structures, as well as roofs, trusses and blockhouses—especially those companies striving to increase productivity, quality and competitiveness in a continuously evolving market.

A new feature at our stand at this year’s XYLEXPO is an area dedicated to panel samples processed using the most advanced edgebanding, sanding, and surface treatment technologies, as well as applications for windows, doors, flooring, and timber construction.

Among the projects on display is Re:Programming Wood – Material Recirculation through Data and Machines, presented by SDU CREATE at the University of Southern Denmark during the spring edition of Dropcity at Milan Design Week. The project explores the reuse of reclaimed wood for the creation of new architectural elements.
SCM, technology partner of Dropcity’s public carpentry workshop, supported the project’s prototyping activities with its 5-axis morbidelli m100 machining center.

The new exhibition corner is designed to give visitors a hands-on experience of what can be achieved with our advanced technologies.

The XYLEXPO 2026 exhibition continues to be a valuable opportunity to see our technologies in action and exchange ideas, perspectives, and insights on the latest developments in the woodworking industry.

Moreover, we were delighted to welcome journalists to our stand during the press meeting, where we showcased our latest technological innovations. Through a guided tour, they were able to explore the exhibited samples up close and gain firsthand experience of the applications and solutions on display.

Xylexpo 2026 has officially opened at Fieramilano alongside Matec, the new exhibition format bringing together wood processing technologies, advanced materials, and the plastics and rubber industries.

At Hall 14, visitors can discover the new accord 500 edge CNC machining center, featuring an innovative edgebanding system for greater production flexibility in furniture and solid wood applications. SCM is also showcasing WinMES and IoT Solution, its digital platforms designed to turn production data into higher efficiency and productivity.

Until June 12th, the SCM stand will be a meeting point for customers, partners, and industry professionals exploring the future of woodworking.
