In aerospace and defence, temperature control is not just about performance — it can be a matter of system safety, reliability and mission success.
Our range of MIL-SPEC Precision Thermostats, based on Sensata KLIXON® technology, provides reliable thermal switching in demanding environments where shock, vibration, extreme temperatures and long-term reliability are critical.

How do they work?
These thermostats use a precision bi-metallic snap-action mechanism. When the monitored temperature reaches a predefined set point, the bi-metal element changes state and mechanically opens or closes the electrical circuit. Once the temperature returns to the specified reset point, the thermostat switches back — providing simple, autonomous thermal protection without the need for complex electronics.

MIL-SPEC thermostats can provide:
• Precise, preset temperature control
• Fast response to over-temperature conditions
• High resistance to shock and vibration
• Hermetic sealing for demanding environments
• Reliable operation across wide temperature ranges
