I know it’s been a while and I hope everyone is well.. I wish all of you the best in this Lenten season..I’ve actually have given up coffee and haven’t had one since Ash Wednesday and well, living it Italy it has been very difficult. At this point I’m going for it…I came across a book recently that has really touch my heart.. “Left to tell” Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust by Immacule’e Ilibagiza. It is an Incredible story about an incredible woman’s faith and Love during one of the darkest times in Human history.. It is well written and I couldn’t put it down..It’s been out for a while and is easy to find..It really makes you think, and when you are going through difficult time it could definitely help you keep things in perspective… Happy Easter, Let’s go Mets and God Bless Everyone.

Just had an amazing visit to the city to honor those who served and suffered from the September 11 2001 attacks..as it was the 22 anniversary..as the years move on we still need to remember and teach future generations of what happened..the courage and bravery of those who made the ultimate sacrifice..I feel all of us as Americans can learn from the events of that time to work past our differences and preserve our freedom for future generations..Thank You to the Mets and all New Teams and organizations who continue to honor this day..I believe it’s is part of who we are. God Bless all of you..family and Friends.. On the 11th of September we are all New Yorkers.

Great catching up with Don. So interesting to discuss the changes in the game from when we played..Was in Toronto for Canadian Italian Chamber of Commerce film festival..they screened the Yogi documentary “It Ain’t Over”..a very entertaining film about a New York and Italian American legend..Had a great interactive discussion on the impact of Italian Americans in MLB.. molte grazie per l'invito.
