Si è concluso il progetto in collaborazione con Ensys s.r.l. e NOIMA Reputation Società Benefit, durante il quale abbiamo sviluppato un kit diagnostico innovativo basato su tecnologie NGS per identificare ceppi microbici e resistenze antibiotiche direttamente dal sangue in casi di sepsi sospetta o accertata.

Questo approccio avanzato riduce i tempi di diagnosi da giorni a poche ore, rivoluzionando le pratiche cliniche esistenti.

Questo progetto nasce per sviluppare 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢 basati sulla tecnologia del Next Generation Sequencing (o NGS) in grado di identificare i patogeni che infettano l’uomo e determinare le farmacoresistenze da essi veicolate, in modo da 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨 𝐥’𝐨𝐩𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐮̀ 𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐚.
Durante il progetto ci si è concentrati su due ambiti: l’infezione da , con un diagnostico che identifichi il virus e determini il suo genotipo, e i batteri coinvolti nella , determinando il ceppo batterico e le antibiotico-resistenze eventualmente presenti.
