Groupe Beneteau and Fountaine Pajot Group, two of the leading sailing yacht manufacturers, are collaborating to create E-Lektra Marine, a joint venture bringing together seven brands with the goal of defining an open standard for the energy architecture of sailing yachts.

The brands involved in the initiative are Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, Excess, Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans, Fountaine Pajot Yachts, and Dufour.

The collaboration aims to overcome the current technological fragmentation by integrating the inevitable market differences, where each manufacturer tends to develop its own systems.

The Dufour 48 sailboat's design has been completely redesigned by Umberto Felci, naval architect of Felci Yachts Design. The lines are fluid and the volumes generous. The customary roof windows transform into longitudinal windows with built-in openings.

Already greatly enhanced in previous models, light once again takes center stage on the Dufour 48. The roof windows, which extend along the entire length of the vessel, allow a constant flow of light into the interior saloon and galley.
