It is the eve of the highly sacred 'Uag'-Feast of the great God Osiris, celebrating His manifestation as the Orion constellation (Sȝḥ) in connection with His aspects as Lord of the dead, Lord of Life, and Lord of wine.

The offerings for the feast include: bread and biscuits, jars of beer and wine, bouquets and baskets of fresh flowers, onion-strings, and baskets of incense
