Update from our home renovation in Southern Italy!
We’ve been doing it ourselves with my husband’s construction company, and it’s been a heavy period of renovation- blew out some walls, added in two bathrooms, custom fireplace and countertops, etc.

Grocery shopping in Italy vs USA:
I really appreciate how in Italy we have a culture of eating organic, seasonal food, often bought from the fruitvendolo, your local fruit & veggie guy on the corner.
While visiting the US, I really miss this part of daily life, but I still make an effort to shop seasonal & organic at my neighborhood farmers markets.
To reduce plastic use, I love to shop with my handmade wool tote from , a local Los Angeles brand.

Ciao! I’m Amby :) I moved from California to Naples, Italy in 2022 and this is more or less why 😆
Obviously I couldn’t fit in everything that’s happened a long the way, but you get the gist.

In Italy dogs are family, so naturally we had a birthday party for our puppy just as we would for a little human!
We just celebrated Filippa’s 1st birthday, and it was so fun for floofs and humans alike 😆
