✍🏼I miei 3 schizzi ispirati a Christian Dior e al suo stile degli anni ‘40-‘50 🥰

📸 Ispirandomi a Dior, ho creato la mia "donna a fiore", con tagli a corolle che danno vita a importanti gonne a ruota, il simbolo del suo "New Look". 🌺
Balze di tulle, sottogonne e metri-metri di tessuto vengono utilizzati dallo stilista per scolpire con piena femminilità la silhouette dell'epoca. 👀

Un guardaroba è ricco, imponente, pieno di vita. ✨

📸 Inspired by Dior, I created my "flowered woman", with corolla cuts that give life to important wheel skirts, the symbol of her "New Look". 🌺

Christian Dior e il suo New Look

Gli anni 40 vedono una decisa differenza tra la moda durante il conflitto e quella del dopoguerra. Le esigenze di risparmio e autarchia portano a scelte quasi “obbligate” nel campo dell’abbigliamento.
Per tutti erano disponibili quasi solo camici e divise da lavoro, in stile militare, e gli stilisti più alla moda finirono col seguirne il design.

Poi la guerra finì, e arrivò Christian Dior.
Il suo New Look fu una rivoluzione, nel vero senso della parola: stava travolgendo il mondo della moda.

Che il New Look di Dior avesse un sapore retrò era vero: le amplissime e lunghe gonne imponevano il ritorno delle sottogonne di tulle, e il vitino di vespa costringeva molte a busti e stringivita, se non a veri corsetti con le stecche. Tornavano i fantastici anni ’10! Le donne alla fine si sottoposero con divertimento al ritorno della femminilità spumeggiante.

Christian Dior and his New Look

The 1940s saw a marked difference between fashion during the conflict and that of the postwar period.
The need for savings and self-sufficiency lead to almost "forced" choices in the field of clothing.
Almost only military-style overalls and work uniforms were available to all, and the most fashionable designers ended up following the design.

Then the war ended, and Christian Dior arrived.
His New Look was a revolution, in the true sense of the word: it was overwhelming the world of fashion.

That Dior's New Look had a retro flavor was true: the very wide and long skirts required the return of tulle petticoats, and the wasp waist forced many to busts and waist tightenings, if not real corsets with splints.
The fantastic 10's were back! The women eventually enjoyed the return of bubbly femininity.

✍🏼I miei 3 schizzi ispirati a Giacomo Balla e il Futurismo⏳

📖 La moda futurista, come nelle altre arti, ricerca nuovi linguaggi al fine di interpretare al meglio le linee guida del Movimento. Per questo, la rivoluzione avviene secondo due principi fondamentali, ovvero asimmetria e sfarzo di colori. 🌈
🥻Il vestito, che sia esso maschile o femminile, deve esprimere dinamismo e vitalità, deve giocare con il taglio, deve essere provocatorio, dirompente, di forte impatto emotivo al fine di attirare l’attenzione di chi lo guarda. 👀
🧣Da non dimenticare inoltre l’uso ricorrente di accessori, costituiti per la maggior parte da elementi geometrici di diversi materiali e colori, da associare secondo il gusto personale di ognuno al fine di rinnovare costantemente la propria immagine. 📸

Perché si pensa e si agisce come si veste. 🧠

🥻The dress, whether male or female, must express dynamism and vitality, must play with the cut, must be provocative, disruptive, strong emotional impact in order to attract the attention of those who watch it.👀
🧣Do not forget also the recurrent use of accessories, consisting mostly of geometric elements of different materials and colors, to be associated according to the personal taste of each in order to constantly renew their image. 📸

✨ 𝐌𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 ✨

L’ABITO FUTURISTA DI GIACOMO BALLA

Nel 1914 firma il Manifesto del vestito maschile futurista in cui teorizza il Vestito Trasformabile, un abito modificabile attraverso l’applicazione di stoffe di forme e colori diversi, con bottoni pneumatici.
È di quell’anno il primo abito futurista “dinamico, aggressivo, urtante, volitivo, violento, volante, agilizzante, gioioso, illuminante, fosforescente”, come scrive lo stesso pittore.

In linea con i concetti del futurismo, la moda proposta da Balla non vuole soffocare il corpo ma dare movimento alla forma umana. Introducendo quindi nuove forme geometriche, diventa espressione di linee veloci, spezzate, disegni fantasiosi e tagli spigolosi con colori, fosforescenti e vivi capaci di esprimere libertà, velocità e frivolezza.
Il vestito diventa un’opera d’arte, al pari dei suoi dipinti o sculture, dove le forme si intrecciano tra di loro per ricreare il dinamismo di treni ed aeroplani elogiando quindi la tecnologia e i progressi nel campo industriale.

In 1914 he signed the Manifesto of the futurist male dress in which he theorizes the Transformable Dress, a dress that can be modified through the application of fabrics of different shapes and colors, with pneumatic buttons.
The first futurist dress of that year was "dynamic, aggressive, bumpy, strong-willed, violent, flying, agile, joyful, illuminating, phosphorescent", as the painter himself wrote.

In line with the concepts of futurism, the fashion proposed by Balla does not want to suffocate the body but give movement to the human form. Introducing new geometric shapes, it becomes an expression of fast, broken lines, fanciful designs and sharp cuts with colors, bright and phosphorescent able to express freedom, speed and frivolity. The dress becomes a work of art, like his paintings or sculptures, where the forms are intertwined to recreate the dynamism of trains and airplanes, praising the technology and progress in the industrial field.

📸 Ho cercato di dare, come Poiret, un'immagine femminile libera e disinvolta, misteriosa e raffinata, a tratti esotica o classica, avvolta in tessuti leggeri e trasparenti. 🧵

✨ Poiret con i suoi abiti ha rivalutato la bellezza naturale del corpo femminile, liberandolo dalle costrizioni dei corsetti e dei busti, spesso deformanti e nocivi rispetto alle funzioni biologiche.🌿
🎩 La morbidezza e l'eleganza delle sue creazioni accompagnavano quindi lo spontaneo esprimersi dei movimenti nella naturale sensualità femminile.💃

📸 I tried to give, like Poiret, a free and casual female image, mysterious and refined, at times exotic or classic, wrapped in light and transparent fabrics. 🧵

✨ Poiret with his clothes has revalued the natural beauty of the female body, freeing it from the constraints of corsets and busts, often deforming and harmful compared to biological functions. 🌿
🎩 The softness and elegance of his creations accompanied the spontaneous expression of the movements in the natural feminine sensuality.💃

I RUGGENTI ANNI ‘20
PAUL POIRET, IL VISIONARIO DELLA MODA

Paul Poiret è entrato di prepotenza nella storia della moda per aver completamente rivoluzionato l’abbigliamento femminile negli anni della Bella Epoque. È considerato il primo creatore di moda in senso moderno.
Si fece conoscere per i suoi completi giacca e gonna, per i suoi originali mantelli, e per i suoi costumi teatrali.

Era ancora l’epoca del busto che nel frattempo furoreggiava nel modello “Gache Serraute” che ripartiva il corpo in due blocchi distinti, il petto e i seni e la parte posteriore. In nome della libertà e ispirandosi allo stile Impero, Poiret lo abolì dalle sue creazioni raccomandando l’uso di una corta sottoveste, mutande e reggiseno. Cercava la massima semplificazione: vita alta, gonne lisce e senza eccessive decorazioni, cappellini a turbante.

THE ROARING YEARS OF 20
PAUL POIRET, THE VISIONARY OF FASHION

Paul Poiret has entered the history of fashion by force for having completely revolutionized women’s clothing in the years of the Bella Epoque. He is considered the first fashion maker in the modern sense. He became known for his jacket and skirt suits, his original cloaks, and his theatrical costumes.

It was still the time of the bust that meanwhile raged in the model "Gache Serraute" which repairs the body in two distinct blocks, the chest and breasts and the back. In the name of freedom and inspired by the Empire style, Poiret abolished it from his creations recommending the use of a short petticoat, panties and bra. He sought the maximum simplification: high waist, smooth skirts and without excessive decorations, turban hats.
