In Rome’s Prati neighborhood, a two-story apartment within a 20th-century building has been reimagined to restore its original spatial depth and natural light. The renovation, led by the Roman architecture firm highlights the vaulted brick ceiling, removes the heavy mezzanine, and introduces a sculptural lemon-yellow staircase as a vibrant focal point. Materials, textures, and tones create a refined dialogue between past and present, where heritage and contemporary design coexist in harmony.

This project by , focused on transforming the historic Can Oliver building, located in the center of Palma de Mallorca, into a 5-star boutique hotel, while respecting and enhancing its original features, such as courtyards, coffered ceilings, and Gothic paintings. The approach was to integrate the hotel into the building, respecting its essence rather than imposing a specific architectural style. The project strikes a balance of contrasts: old and new, traditional and avant-garde, rugged and gentle, heavy and light. It is a building that, while fixed, changes with light and time, managing to be timeless while simultaneously embracing the passage of time.

Puerto Escondido, Mexico. The house sits on a rocky point, as a beacon to the sea, with two fronts towards the Pacific coast. The cross-shaped courtyard has four seven-meter-high volumes, with a pitched roof that frame views to the sea. The conceptual process started from the idea of defining two compositional axes, creating a cross shaped patio that articulates the 4 volumes of the project. These volumes were key to achieve an adequate integration between the architecture and its immediate surrounding.

The New Museum, Manhattan’s only museum dedicated exclusively to contemporary art, reopened its doors to members of its local community, supporters, and elected officials for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 60,000 sq ft building expansion designed by OMA / Shohei Shigematsu and Rem Koolhaas in collaboration with Executive Architect Cooper Robertson will open to the public on March 21, 2026. OMA’s first cultural institution in New York, a new addition to the SANAA-designed museum building at 235 Bowery, provides much-needed space for its expanded activities and increasing public ambitions—doubling the program and square footage on a site immediately adjacent to the existing building.eu
