The project for the new Cineca Campus is based on the redefinition of the area as a single contemporary civic image, capable of regenerating the entire urban district. In this scenario, the landscape is the main driver of revitalisation through a fluid infrastructure: an integrated system of slow mobility paths which, between rows of trees and shaded areas, dissolves the boundaries between the intervention area and the surrounding territory.

This network of flows converges in a public park designed as a soundscape and changing landscape, where organic lines and tree-lined dunes not only mitigate the environmental impact but also create an active organism capable of managing rainwater through retention basins and demineralised surfaces. The public space, like a breathing soil architecture, becomes an open-air pavilion where vegetation creates a material and visual continuum with the architecture.

A complex ecosystem, therefore, where the technological innovation of the Cineca Campus finds its synthesis in a designed nature, capable of reconnecting the site and giving it a new, vibrant collective identity suspended between the plain and the Apennines.

COMPETITIONS | H2Olona VALLEY

H2Olona VALLEY project is a vision that transforms over 630,000 square metres of abandoned industrial areas into an ecological infrastructure, where the landscape is the main regenerative force.

In this context, the challenge was to integrate cutting-edge technologies into a complex territorial system such as that of the Olona Valley.
The landscape is not simply a backdrop to architecture, but an active device capable of mitigate human impact and regenerate environmental connections.

Through a “green-blue” strategy that elevates the river from a barrier to a connector, we have imagined an ecology of integration: an 11-hectare linear park where the memory of industrial archaeology coexists with the production of green hydrogen.

The project represents an exercise in synthesis between innovation and nature, aimed at climate neutrality and resilience, for a future in which technology and territory evolve in symbiosis.

COMPETITIONS | Proposal for the new MASE headquarters.

For the team, landscape design is never an isolated act, but a process of reinterpreting space. In this competition, we explored the delicate balance between architectural artifice and the naturalness of living systems.
The proposal stems from the desire to transform the boundary into a threshold: a space of mediation where biodiversity is not just a backdrop, but a structuring element of the project.
We imagined an infrastructure capable of accommodating the complexity of the territory,
bringing together human needs with the cycles of nature.
The new headquarters of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security thus
becomes a laboratory of thought for defining new balances between the built environment and landscape.

Spazi esterni del Teatro Auditorium di Albignasego (PD)

La selezione delle specie è avvenuta mantenendo una coerenza cromatica tra l’architettura del teatro e la vegetazione, impiegando varietà rustiche, naturalizzate e a bassa manutenzione.
La scelta del Liquidambar styraciflua vuole celebrare il prospetto principale del teatro e la sua piazza con un albero dalle dimensioni contenute ma che, nel periodo autunnale, va a conferire carattere ed eleganza allo spazio attraverso un viraggio cromatico che sia armonizza con le graminacee selezionate e, dunque, con il teatro stesso.

Il fronte urbano è caratterizzato dalla presenza di fasce di graminacee ed erbacee che sottolineano l’ingresso, le direttrici del parco e gli allineamenti dei filari.

Il progetto delle aree esterne del teatro si è concentrato sulle relazioni e dinamiche tra lo spazio aperto ed il teatro.
Il progetto di paesaggio organizza lo spazio attraverso una scansione ordinata di filari di alberi e fasce di graminacee che fungono da filtro visivo e al contempo entrano in relazione con il prospetto del teatro, anche grazie al disegno della pavimentazione.

From idea, to project and realization.
To identify the entrances from the courtyard of the building and the staircase on Via Monte Braulio, the project involves the installation of two red-painted steel totems that visually draw visitors towards the garden.

Dall’idea, al progetto e alla realizzazione.
A identificazione degli ingressi dalla corte del palazzo e dalla scalinata di via Monte Braulio, il progetto ha previsto l’installazione di due totem in acciaio verniciato di rosso che attirano visivamente il visitatore verso il “Giardino del Tempo”.

GARDEN OF TIME - Bormio 2025
The species introduced were inspired by local plants found in the Stelvio National Park and by the botanicals used to make Braulio liqueur. Those that could be cultivated at the altitude of the Garden were selected, along with the most ornamental varieties, to be combined with fruit trees and various existing shrubs in a mix that can be enjoyed in all seasons.

Le specie introdotte partono da un’ispirazione locale al Parco dello Stelvio e dalle botaniche note per la realizzazione del Braulio, selezionando quelle coltivabili alla quota del Giardino, e le varietà più ornamentali, da combinare con alberi da frutto e vari arbusti esistenti in un mix godibile in tutte le stagioni

In order to accommodate the various needs and possibilities for flexible use of the space, the project provided for the introduction of seating and a stage with organic shapes, which blend in with the existing vegetation and the contours of the land. In particular, the stage itself was designed to serve as seating when no events are taking place.

Al fine di assecondare le diverse esigenze e possibilità di utilizzo flessibile dello spazio, il progetto ha previsto l’introduzione di una seduta e un palco dalle forme organiche, che si integrano con la vegetazione esistente e con l’andamento del terreno. In particolare, il palco stesso è stato concepito per essere impiegato anche come elemento di seduta nel momento in cui non sono presenti eventi.
