Hey guys! As you all know, since yesterday the entire territory of Italy is on lockdown. Like all other social activities Mints will take a break until the situation gets back to normal.

Please, let's all stay home and respect the rules so that we can get back to our everyday life as soon as possible. We know it's very hard and none of us has ever experienced something like this before. But solidarity is what will help us get through this period. If we all collaborate we can do it... and we can do it faster!

Meanwhile, the government has granted some services for free for the entire lockdown time. In case you didn't know have a look at the link below 👇. Hopefully it will help you ease this period 😉

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a commercial gallery built between 1865 and 1877 by the architect Giuseppe Mengoni.
The gallery is located right between two of the main attraction points in Milan: Duomo and Teatro alla Scala. The gallery itself is one of the most interesting touristic attractions of the city. In addition to excellent cafés and restaurants, it welcomes some of the most famous shops in the city.
On the floor of the central octagon of the gallery there is a mosaic showing a bull which is the Savoy heraldic symbol. According to the tradition, it brings good luck to turn on the bull with your right foot and with your eyes closed.

Birrificio di Lambrate is one of the most iconic pubs of the city. It was born in 1996 as a micro brewery and it continues to be a meeting point for all craft beer lovers.
The brewery is strongly linked its territory, in fact if you just take a look at its beers you will see that the names are all in Milanese dialect! Today Birrificio Lambrate beers are also found in other pubs, but drinking them in the historic location is a completely other thing. You will be charmed by this wooden pub or by the cheerful mess of people drinking beer just outside of it. Thanks to its increasing success in December 2011 the brewery opened a second location (still in Lambrate), with the same name but more spacious and more devoted to food than the first.

In the past each city or village had its own castle as a defensive fortress during war times and as residence for the nobility. Milan also had its castle which is nowadays located right in the historic center: the Sforzesco Castle.
It was erected during the fifteenth century by Francesco Sforza, who was the Duke of Milan. The Castle takes its name after him.
Today the Castello Sforzesco is home to several civic museums and it has one of the largest artistic collections in Milan.

Nottingham Forest is certainly a must see place in Milan. Starting from its fusion design you will find Asian, Caribbean and African decor styles. For several years it has been ranked as one of "The World's 50 Best Bars" and the reason is quite simple: This cocktail bar is a pioneer in molecular mixology and its drinks are beyond spectacular and creative.
You might get the very famous "bathtub cocktail" or you might have your drink served in a skull or in syringes. If you order a "Feng Shui Stone" you will find river stones marinated in alcohol and aromas on the bottom of your glass. If you ask for "The Revenant" you will taste an ultrasonic extraction of oak in vodka served with insect eggs and pine resin. The possibilities are truly countless, just go there and have a look at the amazing menu! And if you have troubles picking up a drink the expert staff will guide you in choosing the one that suits you better.

The futuristic G*e Aulenti Square was inaugurated in 2012 and it has been ranked as one of the most beautiful squares of the world by the Landscape Institute. Due to its position it's considered as a link between the historical part of the city and the financial one.
It is surrounded by many interesting attraction points such as: Unicredit Tower (the highest building in Italy with its 231 mt), Bosco Verticale (an architectural complex of two towers with 2,000 plant species) and Corso Como (one of the most vital streets in Milan, home to numerous shops, restaurants and bars).
Also noteworthy is the Solar tree-shaped lamp, whose intelligent "fruits" are made up of LED lights that accumulate sunlight during the day.
