Yesterday was a special sunday in Cravagliana with the inauguration of the mural dedicated to Annette Lorentzen Casalini, the moving words of her son Jean-Cristophe, and the music of the Biella Gospel Choir in our parish church.

The painter from Sea Land in Denmark who loved the Alps.
Kunstnerinden fra Själland, som elskede bjergene.
Annette was a kind, shy and reserved woman. His entire artistic work is a silent dialogue with his sons, Jean-Christophe and Brunetto. She described her spiritual journey to them by teaching the goal to be achieved. Emotions, dreams, nightmares, ego, memories are tackled to free oneself from restlessness and finally reach into the beauty of the surrounding environment, expressed in the last works as "Gardens of Eden", the long-awaited bliss and happiness.
Annette era una donna gentile, timida e riservata. Il suo intero lavoro artistico è un dialogo silenzioso con i suoi figli, Jean-Christophe e Brunetto. Ha descritto loro il suo viaggio spirituale insegnando l'obiettivo da raggiungere. Emozioni, sogni, incubi, ego e i ricordi sono affrontati per liberarsi dall'inquietudine e ritrovare finalmente nella bellezza dell'ambiente circostante, espressa nelle ultime opere come "Giardini dell'Eden", la tanto attesa beatitudine e felicità.
