Matteo Nasini is among the artists participating in Ghost Track, a project promoted by MAC - Milano Art Community and Milano Art Week in collaboration with the Civic Museum of Milan.
In musical terminology, a “ghost track” is a hidden track: a piece concealed at the end of an album that does not appear in the official tracklist, a silent presence revealed only to those who keep listening beyond the expected limit.
The artworks are placed in dialogue with the permanent collections, occupying the spaces as unexpected guests that open up new possible narratives.

Moving from the broken plot of an abandoned backyard alley, the practices of Kenji Ide and Nicola Martini melt into a dark scenario of material presences, leftover of a hidden gathering. Martini re-enacts his ongoing work Sippe, a photosensitive tar who activates the gallery’s wall and their marks, embracing Ide’s punctual sculptural threads.

‘ Vijay Masharani follows the contour of the artistic process, composing drawings and videos on an ongoing basis. Artworks sediment decision and discovery. Forms split into forms. It’s like the Large Hadron Collider. An understanding of novelty remains illegal.
Sequin, Shadow features mostly permutations of recombinable elements: circles, semicircular arches, and others. These works also consider interactions between line, light, and color, and their capacity to signify.’
