Ermesia

Siamo stati dieci giorni a New York con un gruppo di meravigliosi ragazzi delle superiori per i quali ho pensato un percorso attorno alla fotografia organizzato da Ermesia. Abbiamo conosciuto fotografi, stampatori, photoeditor, librai di fotografia. Siamo stati al MoMA, al MET, visitato la mostra su Diane Arbus. Abbiamo camminato sul Ponte di Brooklyn, visitato la redazione del New York Times, mangiato la pizza sulla spiaggia di Coney Island, visitato Ground Zero, fatto una grigliata guardando la skyline della città, ascoltato i The Roots a Flushing Meadows.
E tante altre cose.
Che dite? Lo rifacciamo anche l’anno prossimo?

Ermesia compie 10 anni! 🌍

Dieci anni fa, nel 2014, abbiamo scattato la nostra prima foto di squadra. Oggi, eccoci qui: cresciuti, con lo stesso entusiasmo e la stessa passione per creare viaggi autentici e su misura.

Un traguardo che vogliamo celebrare con tutti voi, ringraziandovi per averci accompagnato in questo percorso. Approfittiamo dell’occasione per augurare a tutti buone feste e un nuovo anno ricco di avventure! ✨

🇮🇹 Si chiude il racconto italiano di questa primavera con un viaggio attraverso la storia antica della Sicilia occidentale che ha portato ben 3 gruppi di studenti alla scoperta di 3 popoli leggendari.
🏺 L'avventura è iniziata con gli Elimi, un popolo misterioso di probabile origine italica che la tradizione vuole abbia fondato Erice e il tempio di Segesta.
🏛️ Il secondo giorno gli studenti hanno potuto toccare con mano la grandezza della civiltà greca e i suoi magnifici templi visitando il meraviglioso parco archeologico di Selinunte, un'affascinante città stato della Magna Grecia.
🌊 L'ultima tappa ha portato i gruppi a Mozia, nella riserva dello Stagnone di Marsala. Qui, seguendo le tracce dei Fenici, fondatori della colonia, hanno scoperto le prime saline del mondo. Una lezione di storia immersa nella natura.
🌍 Si conclude così il racconto dei viaggi nella nostra pen*sola, presto il racconto delle uscite in Europa!

🇮🇹 This spring's Italian tale comes to a close with a journey through the ancient history of western Sicily that led as many as 3 groups of students to discover 3 legendary peoples.
🏺 The adventure began with the Elymians, a mysterious people of probable Italic origin who, according to tradition, founded Erice and the temple of Segesta.
🏛️ On the second day, students were able to experience the grandeur of Greek civilization and its magnificent temples by visiting the wonderful archaeological park of Selinunte, a fascinating city-state of Magna Graecia.
🌊 The last stop took the groups to Mozia, in the Stagnone Reserve of Marsala. Here, following in the footsteps of the Phoenicians, founders of the colony, they discovered the world's first salt pans. A history lesson immersed in nature.
🌍 This concludes the account of trips to our peninsula, soon the account of trips to Europe!

✈️ Prosegue il racconto di questa primavera con un gruppo di studenti che ha esplorato le meraviglie di Palermo, immergendosi nella sua ricca storia arabo-normanna.
🕌 Il viaggio si è concentrato sugli itinerari arabo-normanni della città medievale che hanno portato i ragazzi a esplorare anche le dimore estive dei re Normanni: la Zisa e la Cuba.
🎭 Il gruppo ha visitato poi il quartiere Brancaccio per conoscere la figura di Don Pino Puglisi, ed assistere successivamente a uno spettacolo di brani letterari e musicali siciliani, interpretati da musicisti e attori professionisti.
🌊 L'uscita didattica si è conclusa con una degustazione di prodotti tipici siciliani in un agriturismo di Alcamo, una passeggiata sul lungomare di Castellammare del Golfo, e infine una visita guidata del Duomo e del Chiostro di Monreale.

✈️ This spring's journey continues with a group of students who explored the wonders of Palermo, immersing themselves in its rich Arab-Norman history.
🕌 The trip focused on the Arab-Norman itineraries of the medieval city, which also led the students to explore the summer residences of the Norman kings: the Zisa and the Cuba.
🎭 The group then visited the Brancaccio neighborhood to learn about the figure of Don Pino Puglisi, and later attended a performance of Sicilian literary and musical pieces, performed by professional musicians and actors.
🌊 The educational outing ended with a tasting of typical Sicilian products at a farmhouse in Alcamo, a walk along the seafront in Castellammare del Golfo, and finally a guided tour of the Cathedral and Cloister of Monreale.
🇮🇹 The next few days will conclude the story of travels in our peninsula, looking forward to Europe!

🌊 Il racconto delle uscite didattiche di questa primavera continua all’insegna della splendida costa ligure, tra Genova e Portofino, tra bellezze della natura e ricchezza della storia locale.
🐋 L'avventura è iniziata con un emozionante whale watching, che ha offerto agli studenti l'opportunità di vedere magnifici cetacei nel loro habitat naturale.
🏞️ La seconda giornata è stata dedicata a un'escursione nell’area marina protetta del territorio, seguita da un trekking di 5 km dal Parco di Portofino fino all'abbazia di San Fruttuoso, un gioiello nascosto tra le colline e il mare.
⚓ Infine, il viaggio si è concluso con una visita guidata del centro storico di Genova, ricco di fascino e tradizione. Gli studenti hanno anche visitato il museo del mare Galata, ascoltando le storie di marinai e esploratori.
Tre giorni intensi chiudono il 50% dei viaggi nella nostra pen*sola. Nei prossimi giorni il viaggio continuerà, in attesa dell'Europa! 🇮🇹🌍

🌊 The tale of this spring's educational outings continues under the banner of the beautiful Ligurian coast, between Genoa and Portofino, amidst the beauty of nature and the richness of local history.
🐋 The adventure began with an exciting whale watching, which offered students the opportunity to see magnificent cetaceans in their natural habitat.
🏞️ The second day was dedicated to an excursion to the area's marine protected area, followed by a 5-kilometer trek from Portofino Park to the Abbey of San Fruttuoso, a hidden gem between the hills and the sea.
⚓ Finally, the trip concluded with a guided tour of Genoa's historic center, rich in charm and tradition. Students also visited the Galata Sea Museum, listening to stories of sailors and explorers.
Three intense days closed the 50 percent of the trips to our peninsula. In the coming days the journey will continue, looking forward to Europe! 🇮🇹🌍

🌿 Nel mese di marzo, un'uscita didattica ha portato un gruppo di studenti alla scoperta di Trento, tra storia, scienze e natura!
💣 Il primo giorno è stato dedicato all'immersivo centro storico della città e alla visita al Museo della Guerra, alla scoperta dei segreti del passato.
🏞️ Il secondo giorno è stato un'esperienza nella natura, con un'escursione di trekking per i sentieri del parco naturale con guida locale.
🔬 L'ultimo giorno è stato dedicato alla scoperta del MUSE, il Museo delle Scienze di Trento, caratterizzato dalle sue esposizioni interattive e coinvolgenti.
È con questa ricca tre giorni che inizia il racconto delle nostre uscite di questo semestre. Nei prossimi giorni discenderemo la pen*sola, per poi viaggiare per l'Europa! 🇮🇹🌍

🌿 In March, an educational outing took a group of students to discover Trent, amid history, science and nature!
💣 The first day was dedicated to the immersive historic city center and a visit to the War Museum, discovering the secrets of the past.
🏞️ The second day was a nature experience, with a trekking hike through the nature park trails with a local guide.
🔬 The last day was dedicated to discovering MUSE, the Trento Science Museum, characterized by its interactive and engaging exhibits.
It is with this rich three days that the account of our outings this semester begins. In the coming days we will descend the peninsula, and then travel around Europe! 🇮🇹🌍

🇮🇹✨ Per 7 giorni, un gruppo di donne e uomini dall'Arabia Saudita ha fatto tappa di nuovo in Italia, in un viaggio dedicato al benessere e alla scoperta della cultura italiana intitolato “Reboot Yourself”.

🌿🍇 Il gruppo ha alloggiato in un agriturismo immerso nel verde nella zona del Lago di Lecco dove è stato accolto la prima sera da una cena di benvenuto a cura di . Insieme, hanno gustato i prodotti caseari locali e si sono addentrati tra le montagne innevate, tra sessioni di orienteering, trekking e ciaspolate.

🏞️ Una giornata è stata dedicata ai borghi affacciati sul Lago di Como, esplorando Varenna, Como e Bellagio per mezzo di un tour in barca.

🎶 Diverse altre attività sono state pensate per permettere al gruppo di vivere l’esperienza italiana immersi nella musica, nell’arte e nella danza.

🇮🇹✨ For 7 days, a group of women and men from Saudi Arabia made a return stop in Italy on a trip dedicated to wellness and discovering Italian culture entitled reboot yourself.

🌿🍇 The group stayed in a farmhouse surrounded by greenery in the area of Lake Lecco where they were welcomed on the first evening by a welcome dinner organised by . Together, they sampled local dairy products and wandered through the snowy mountains, including orienteering, trekking and snowshoeing sessions.

🏞️ A day was dedicated to the villages overlooking Lake Como, exploring Varenna, Como and Bellagio by means of a boat tour.

🎶 Several other activities were designed to allow the group to experience Italy immersed in music, art and dance.

🌞🌋 Un'avventura straordinaria ha portato un’ottantina di ragazzi di un liceo di Padova sotto il bel sole di Febbraio, alla scoperta di Palermo, Catania e dell'imponente Etna. 🏰🇮🇹

🏰 Il viaggio ha avuto inizio a Palermo, dove una guida esperta ha raccontato ai ragazzi i segreti di questa città intrisa di storia, popoli, culture. Momento apicale è stata la visita alla Ca****la Palatina, capolavoro dell’arte normanna e allo stesso tempo simbolo dell’arte islamica e greco-bizantina.

🌋 Dopo l’esperienza culturale a Palermo, il gruppo si è diretto sulla costa Est dell’isola, ai piedi dell’Etna per svolgere un escursione al Rifugio Sapienza e una passeggiata verso i crateri silvestri formatisi durante le eruzioni Ottocentesche.

I quattro giorni si sono conclusi con la visita del centro storico di Catania, che ha accolto il gruppo con i suoi colori vivaci e la sua tradizione siciliana. 🌟🇮🇹

🌞🌋 An extraordinary adventure took some 80 kids from a Padua high school under the beautiful February sun to discover Palermo, Catania and the towering Mount Etna. 🏰🇮🇹

🏰 The trip began in Palermo, where an expert guide told the boys the secrets of this city steeped in history, peoples, cultures. Apex moment was the visit to the Palatine Chapel, a masterpiece of Norman art and at the same time a symbol of Islamic and Greek-Byzantine art.

🌋 After the cultural experience in Palermo, the group headed to the east coast of the island, to the foothills of Mount Etna to carry out an excursion to Rifugio Sapienza and a walk to the sylvan craters formed during the 19th-century eruptions.

The four days ended with a visit to the historic center of Catania, which welcomed the group with its vibrant colors and Sicilian tradition. 🌟🇮🇹
