During Milan Design Week 2026, Superstudio Maxi hosted Honda R&D’s Dream Driven Design Workshop, developed in collaboration with La Fonte and / : an immersive experience where emerging designers explored new visions for the future of mobility through storytelling, artificial intelligence, collaboration, and human-centered design.
Inspired by Soichiro Honda’s belief that innovation begins with dreams, participants from leading Italian design schools and diverse creative backgrounds worked intensively in international teams to develop speculative concepts, narratives, and future scenarios. Fast-paced, hands-on, and deeply collaborative, the workshop became a space where different perspectives, cultures, and creative approaches could intersect.
A few intense days of experimentation, dialogue, and future thinking hosted at Superstudio.

For the third consecutive year, and Superstudio continued their cross-promotional collaboration with the talk “What’s Next? The Vision of the Future”, held yesterday at ICFF NYC.
Moderated by Giulio Cappellini and with the introduction of Laura Vella, the conversation brought together international voices from the worlds of design, education, and creative direction to explore how contemporary design is evolving and which ideas are shaping what comes next.
Speakers included: Monica Correia, Cecilia León de la Barra, Daniel Germani, Sergio Nava.
Superstudio Design 2026 closes with a record edition that goes beyond numbers: a week made of energy, exchanges, and new connections.
For the first time across three locations, we built together a distributed project that brought design, people, and the city into a single narrative.
We witnessed creativity, dialogue, innovation, experiences, performances and design shaping new ways of seeing the world - where ideas became encounters and spaces turned into shared experiences.
Thank you to every designer, brand, partner, artist, and visitor who made this edition so vibrant and unforgettable.
Your energy, vision, and presence brought every space to life.

Over 105K visitors across three venues, three districts and three identities of contemporary design.
Superstudio Design 2026 marks a new chapter: an open platform of ideas, people and connections shaping the future of design.
Acmé brings "Ancestrale" to SuperPlayground, Superstudio Village: a limited edition collection by Studio Forward, Martinelli Venezia, Giuseppe Arezzi, Francesco Librizzi Studio, Cristian Catania of Lombardini22 and Giulia Soldati, where functional objects designed to last evoke primordial worlds and restore a ritual quality to the everyday gesture of eating.
At SuperPlayground, Superstudio Village, Holcim Italia and Nadia Vallino unveil "Fatti i Castelli.": an installation by Nadia Vallino where suspended villages of low-carbon ECOPlanet cement and dismantled scaffolding evoke the childhood gesture of building a sandcastle, solidified into allegories of refuge and precariousness, while reclaimed post boxes from Pastificio Cerere become small windows guarding traces of the city's former inhabitants.
Iron that awakens through sound, matter that dissolves into digital frequencies, darkness that gives way to awareness. At SuperNova, Superstudio Più, Sogimi stages "Shadow Crackers" with Jacopo Mandich and Eric Oder: a three-part immersive journey between sculpture and audiovisual practice where the subconscious and future planning meet in a continuous flow of matter and spirit.
