'THE' architect of the Greek Parthenon and models. Completely mind boggling to even comprehend how old these artefacts are. Off to see other parts of the Parthenon in London, can't wait !

Welcome back to Rome! We met a year ago in Milano at the and have been waiting since for you to come back 'home'. The original pieces of this incredibile acrolith are preserved here in Rome in the incredible , so this is your home! Emperor Constantine sitting proudly and so regal and used to be inside the Basilica of Maxentius, but there's a long and fascinating story behind all of this, .

Nothing like the blue sky in Rome, looking over the River Tiber and looking at the only bridge in Rome built by the Pope's, Pope Sixtus IV for the Jubilee Year of 1475, the same Pope who had the glorious Sistine Chapel built.

There are many reasons we still have so much information about Ancient Rome, but one of the most amazing reasons is a city map known as the Forma Urbis, made out of 150 different marble slabs engraved with: the river, the streets and the blue print of all the public buildings, temples, theatres and not only. Unbelievable and dating back to 203 AD by Emperor Septimius Severus and is 18 x 14 meters (approx 54 x 42 feet). Finally we get to see these amazing fragments. Those Romans were so sophisticated it's quite mind boggling.

My favorite road in the world -The Appian Way 313 BC and 650 km long. Just one of the reasons Ancient Rome becomes more and more powerful, military roads with easy access backwards and forwards plus unique Military tactics. Every single piece of land touching the Mediterranean is part of the Roman Empire - and beyond including part of my beautiful England too! Cheeky lot!

La proganda Romana, the bigger, the better, you intimidate! This beautiful marble foot is part of a 50 foot tall seated statue, foot of Emperor Costantine. Today the statue has been completely reintegrated and financed by the Prada Foundation. See it to believe it !

After years and years of reading fascinating books by the incredible archeologist Andrea Carradini, you finally have the pleasure of meeting him in the Roman Forum and what a humbling and beautiful experience, we chatted and he sweetly let me fotograph him. What would my job be without unique archeologists like this?? Thank you Professor

Last night in Sardinia and how can you not do some wine tasting in the beautiful vineyards? Wines in Sardinia are delish: minerality from all the surrounding granite, sapidity from being so close to the sea and the local winds and sun to top it all off. Is this my new life as a Sommelier ?
