L’estate è fatta di sole, salsedine, giornate lente e tempo trascorso all’aria aperta.
E forse il modo migliore per prenderci cura del mare è proprio questo: viverlo ma con attenzione.
Abbiamo raccolto alcune piccole abitudini che possono accompagnarci durante una giornata in spiaggia.
🔵 Portare via ciò che abbiamo utilizzato
🔵 Preferire una borraccia
🔵 Fare attenzione agli oggetti che il vento può disperdere
🔵 Insegnare ai più piccoli a osservare la natura senza disturbarla o interferire
🔵 Controllare che il proprio ombrellone sia integro prima di tornare a casa
Perché il rispetto per l’ambiente spesso nasce dalle cose più semplici.

And perhaps the best way to take care of the sea is simply to enjoy it—with care and respect.
Here are a few small habits that can make a difference during a day at the beach.
🔵 Take everything you brought with you when you leave
🔵 Choose a reusable water bottle instead of single-use plastic
🔵 Be mindful of items that the wind could carry away
🔵 Teach children to observe nature without disturbing or interfering with it
🔵 Make sure your beach umbrella is intact before heading home
Because respect for the environment often begins with the simplest actions.

Giornata Mondiale dell’Amicizia
Nel canottaggio, come nel volontariato, c’è una cosa che si impara presto: i risultati migliori arrivano quando si rema nella stessa direzione.
Ogni attività, ogni evento e ogni progetto nascono dall’incontro tra persone diverse che scelgono di condividere tempo, energie e valori.
È così che si costruiscono le comunità.
Ed è così che, a volte, nascono anche le amicizie più belle.
In questa Giornata Mondiale dell’Amicizia vogliamo ringraziare tutte le persone che fanno parte del nostro percorso.
Chi c’era all’inizio.
Chi è arrivato da poco.
E chi continua, ogni giorno, a remare insieme a noi.

In rowing, just as in volunteering, there’s one thing you learn very quickly: the best results come when everyone rows in the same direction.
Every activity, every event and every project begins with people from different backgrounds choosing to share their time, energy and values.
That’s how communities are built.
And that’s how, sometimes, the strongest friendships begin.
On this International Day of Friendship, we’d like to thank everyone who has been part of our journey.
Those who were there from the beginning.
Those who joined us more recently.
And those who continue, every day, to row alongside us.

Per molti è un paesaggio.
Per chi pratica canottaggio è molto di più.
È il luogo dove ci si allena. Dove si impara la disciplina.
Dove si condividono fatica, obiettivi e passione.
Ogni uscita in barca insegna una cosa semplice: il rapporto con l’acqua non è qualcosa di distante.
È concreto. È quotidiano.
Un fiume più pulito non è solo un bene per gli ecosistemi che lo abitano. È un bene per tutte le persone che lo vivono ogni giorno.
Proteggere l’acqua significa proteggere un patrimonio naturale.
Ma anche il luogo in cui tanti atleti crescono, si allenano e costruiscono il proprio futuro sportivo.
🔵 Ambiente e sport remano nella stessa direzione.

For many, it is a landscape.
For those who row, it is much more.
It is where they train. Where they learn discipline. Where they share effort, goals and passion.
Every session on the water teaches a simple lesson: our relationship with water is not something distant. It is real. It is part of everyday life.
A cleaner river is not only better for the ecosystems that depend on it. It is also better for all the people who experience it every day.
Protecting water means protecting a natural heritage. But it also means protecting the place where so many athletes grow, train and build their sporting future.

C’è qualcosa di blu che forse non hai mai visto.
Si chiama Glaucus atlanticus. Ha pochi centimetri, vive in
oceano aperto, e ha esattamente il colore che ha il mare
quando è al suo meglio.
Galleggia capovolto sulla superficie, tenendosi a galla con una
bolla d’aria nello stomaco. Si nutre di meduse urticanti — e ne
ruba il veleno per farlo suo. Piccolo, invisibile ai più, e
incredibilmente preciso nel suo ruolo.
Vive esattamente lì dove il mare incontra il cielo. Esattamente lì
dove arriva anche la plastica.
Noi ci chiamiamo Piùblu per un motivo: perché crediamo che
più blu ci sia — negli oceani, nelle scelte, nei comportamenti —
meglio stiamo tutti. Anche chi, come lui, non ha voce per
dircelo.
🔵 Più blu. Sempre.

There’s something blue you may have never seen before.
It’s called *Glaucus atlanticus*. Just a few centimeters long, it lives in the open ocean and is the exact color of the sea when it’s at its most beautiful.
It floats upside down on the surface, staying afloat thanks to an air bubble stored in its stomach. It feeds on stinging jellyfish — and steals their venom to use as its own. Tiny, almost invisible, and remarkably precise in its role within the marine ecosystem.
It lives exactly where the sea meets the sky. Exactly where plastic ends up, too.
We’re called PiùBlu for a reason: because we believe that the more blue there is — in our oceans, in our choices, and in our everyday actions — the better life is for everyone. Including those, like the blue dragon, who have no voice to tell us.

Un piccolo gesto può accompagnare un grande traguardo.
Al Festival dei Giovani “Gian Antonio Romanini” di Ravenna abbiamo avuto il piacere di premiare i vincitori del singolo e della classifica speciale “720” con una borraccia riutilizzabile PiùBlu.
Per noi è un modo semplice per portare la sostenibilità dentro lo sport, dove ogni scelta quotidiana conta quanto l’impegno, la costanza e il rispetto per ciò che ci circonda.
Complimenti a tutte le ragazze e i ragazzi che hanno reso speciale questa edizione del Festival: il futuro dello sport passa anche dai valori che scegliamo di condividere.

A small gesture can become part of a great achievement.
At the “Gian Antonio Romanini” Youth Rowing Festival in Ravenna, PiùBlu was proud to present reusable water bottles to the winners of the single events and the special “720” ranking.
For us, it’s a simple way to bring sustainability into sport, where everyday choices matter just as much as commitment, perseverance and respect for the environment.
Congratulations to all the young athletes who made this Festival such a memorable event. The future of sport is built on the values we choose to share.
Secondo me funziona bene perché non mette PiùBlu al centro, ma il messaggio: il premio è un simbolo di un modo di vivere lo sport, non un gadget promozionale.

Il mare non è una discarica.
Eppure ogni anno tonnellate di plastica raggiungono
oceani e coste, mettendo a rischio ecosistemi, fauna marina e biodiversità.
Una bottiglia abbandonata oggi può restare nell’ambiente per centinaia di anni.
Nel frattempo si frammenta, diventando invisibile ma non meno pericolosa.
Proteggere gli oceani significa proteggere anche noi stessi.
• Meno plastica monouso
• Più consapevolezza
• Più educazione ambientale

Scegliamo di trasformare l’attenzione in azione.

The ocean is not a landfill.
Yet every year, tons of plastic reach our oceans and coastlines, putting marine ecosystems, wildlife and biodiversity at risk.
A plastic bottle discarded today can remain in the environment for hundreds of years.
In the meantime, it breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces, becoming invisible but no less harmful.
Protecting our oceans means protecting ourselves.

Plastic Bag Free Day
Una busta di plastica può accompagnarci per pochi minuti. Un tragitto. Una spesa. Una commissione. Se dispersa nell’ambiente, però, la sua storia può durare molto più a lungo. Per questo il Plastic Bag Free Day non è un invito alla perfezione, ma alla consapevolezza. Scegliere una borsa riutilizzabile, ridurre il monouso quando possibile e prestare attenzione a dove finiscono i nostri rifiuti sono piccoli gesti che, sommati, fanno la differenza. Perché la sostenibilità non è fatta di azioni straordinarie. È fatta di scelte quotidiane.

A plastic bag may only stay with us for a few minutes.
A short walk. A grocery trip. A quick errand.
But if it ends up in the environment, its story can last much longer.
That’s why Plastic Bag Free Day is not about being perfect. It’s about being aware.
Choosing a reusable bag, reducing single-use plastics whenever possible, and paying attention to where our waste ends up are small actions that, together, can make a real difference.
Because sustainability isn’t built on extraordinary actions.
It’s built on everyday choices.

Ogni clean up lascia il segno. Ma non solo sull’ambiente.
Abbiamo fatto qualche domanda ai volontari di CUORE - Impresa Sociale appena terminata la raccolta: qual è il gesto più sostenibile che fanno a casa? Cosa cambieranno dopo questa esperienza? Qual è stato il “ritrovamento” della giornata? E, soprattutto, come descriverebbero questo clean up con una sola parola... o con una smorfia?
Perché ogni rifiuto raccolto racconta una storia. E ogni persona che partecipa può contribuire a cambiarne il finale.

Every clean up leaves a mark. But not only on the environment.
We asked our volunteers of CUORE - Impresa Sociale a few questions right after the collection: what’s the most sustainable habit they have at home? What will they stop buying after this experience? What was the most common item they found? And, most importantly, how would they describe this clean up with just one word... or one facial expression?
Because every piece of litter tells a story. And everyone who takes part can help change its ending.
