Boxedge Music

A song becomes a painting. A painting becomes something Lunaria can wear.
“The Repetition of Dust” is a song written and composed by BOXEDGE — the title track of our latest album.

Inspired by the song, PZ created the original artwork “The Repetition of Dust”, translating its atmosphere and imagery into a visual work. Within the painting, PZ also incorporated the two silhouettes that have become a recurring visual signature across BOXEDGE’s single covers, connecting this work to the wider visual world of the project.
The same artwork became part of the album’s visual identity and its physical edition.
Now it takes on another form.
Reinterpreted across the front and back of a coat created for Lunaria Payne, the painting moves from canvas into fabric, transforming with the shape of the garment and becoming part of Lunaria’s own visual identity.
This is the first.
But the idea doesn’t stop within Lunaria’s virtual world.
This first experiment opens the door to something broader: exploring how artworks born from our music can become surfaces, fabrics and garments to wear — eventually finding a form in the real world too.
For now, it all begins with Lunaria.
These images offer a glimpse of the first coat, the original artwork behind it, and the virtual shoot where this new idea begins to take shape.
And at the origin of it all, there is still the music.

The Repetition of Dust. To be heard, to be seen — and perhaps, one day, worn.

OBLIVION — beyond the song.

Inside “The Repetition of Dust (Album)”, the words of “Oblivion”meet the visual world created for the album.

A detail from an original artwork by PZ, alongside the lyrics — part of the 12-page booklet created to make the physical edition something to see, read and keep.
