This is a version I converted myself from the previous model sculpted by Nello Rivecchio. What do you think?
Guglielmo “Pazzo” dei Pazzi – Campaldino 1289 – Scale 1/24
Who was this knight?
Guglielmo dei Pazzi of Valdarno was a Ghibelline nobleman of the 13th century, belonging to a branch of the Pazzi family that had been exiled from Florence and opposed the Guelph city.
An experienced captain in the Aretine army, he fought in the wars between Florence and Arezzo and was among the key figures in the Battle of Campaldino (1289). Connected to the powerful Ubertini family, he was the nephew of Bishop Guglielmino, commander of the Ghibelline forces.
According to tradition, during the battle he exchanged insignia with his uncle to protect him, was struck in his place, and died on the battlefield.
On the battlefield they fought side by side, and there they both met their death.
Two knights, one shared fate: that of those who choose the same side, fight the same battle, and fall on the same day, united until their final breath.

This splendid medieval knight is an impeccable work by the sculptor Nello Rivieccio . I had the pleasure of painting it in preview; it will be presented at the Calenzano exhibition( near Florence) “Fragments of History” next weekend, the 8th–9th. La Condotta Firenze

– Bishop Guglielmino degli Ubertini – Campaldino 1289 – Scale 1/24

Who was this knight?

Guglielmino degli Ubertini was not a sacristy bishop, but a bishop of the sword. For forty years he ruled Arezzo with an iron fist, transforming his diocese into the last, indomitable Ghibelline stronghold of Tuscany. Beneath his sacred vestments he always wore armor, ready to exchange the pastoral staff for a lance to defend the lands of his powerful family.

His fate was sealed on June 11, 1289, on the plain of Campaldino. Despite being well into his seventies, the “warrior bishop” refused to stand by in the rear. As the Florentine Guelphs — among whom fought a young Dante Alighieri — overwhelmed his ranks, Guglielmino rejected every call to flee. He chose to die in the mud of battle, struck down among his infantrymen, preferring a warrior’s martyrdom to the dishonor of surrender.

Landsknecht 1/10 Medieval Forge Miniatures. It was a long and difficult project. Real metal is a beautiful technique, but it constantly puts you under pressure and it’s not even easy to photograph. I hope you like it.

This miniature was fun and quick to paint; it now completes my 16th-century–themed display of busts. What do you think?

Capitain, King's Lifeguard of Fott. (Nasedy, 1645) Scale 1/10 FeR miniature. A seemingly simple bust, but one that presents several challenges. It was a great challenge and a thorough study of different materials. I hope you enjoy it.
