Here is the latest addition to my ‘Weathered Souls’ series. I hope y’all it.

​In my search for finding new ways to view nature through photography I chose to focus on capturing the smaller, finer details. I photographed leaves that I found in Irving, TX near the Trinity River. This typology of leaves is an intimate study of the small things in nature that make up the bigger picture. It showcases diversity and detail, and praises the organic qualities of nature free from the forced linear designs of humans. It is a celebration of the unique beauty of natural form. These images also illustrate the natural process of life and death and the destruction and decay that these tiny pieces of nature experience in their harsh environment. These are only four of many leaves in this ongoing nature series titled ‘Weathered Souls’.

Florence was beautiful. I'm ready to go back.
