Eugenio Provaroni “Enio” a Tuscan, and Jane Dengler from Boston, begun experimenting with artistic leather in 1970, becoming part of the "New Renaissance Movement" funded by "I Liberi Artigiani di Firenze". Behind a finished bag, there are many more steps than you might imagine.
Western started from an inspiration rooted in the past, but turning it into something real took research, testing, corrections and several days of work in the workshop.
The initial sketch is only the beginning: then come the paper pattern, the prototype, the sample and all the adjustments needed to find the right balance between aesthetics, structure and functionality.
In total, more than a week of work went into creating the version you can now see in our store 🤎
