✨ La Grottesca: fantasia e meraviglia del Rinascimento 🎨🌿
La Grottesca è un genere decorativo parietale del Rinascimento, caratterizzato da intrecci fantastici di figure ibride, animali e motivi vegetali.
Il nome deriva dalle antiche pitture scoperte nelle “grotte”, in realtà le stanze sotterranee della Domus Aurea fatta costruire dall’imperatore Nerone 🏛️(Definizione basata su Treccani)

Grotesque is a Renaissance decorative wall-painting style, characterized by fantastic intertwinings of hybrid figures, animals, and vegetal motifs. The name comes from ancient paintings discovered in underground “grottoes”, actually the buried rooms of the Domus Aurea built by Nero.
