First Jumu’ah back in Italy 🇮🇹🤲🏼

After spending so much time abroad, being able to pray Jumu’ah again in Italy felt incredibly special.

And somehow, I found this beautiful little mosque hidden just a few minutes from home.

It reminded me of something simple:

Wherever you are in the world, you can always find your way back to Allah.

Alhamdulillah for this Friday.
Alhamdulillah for this place.
Alhamdulillah for being home. 🤲🏼❤️

To my life partner, happy birthday. 🤍

When I think about my life before you and the one I’ve been fortunate enough to live since you arrived, I realize how much you’ve changed it.

You’ve changed the way I look at things, the way I approach life, and, above all, you’ve changed my heart.

You taught me that loving someone isn’t just about sharing the good times, but having a person by my side who makes even the storm feel less scary.
A person with whom I can feel seen, understood, and at peace, even when everything outside seems to be going the other way.

And then you gave me the greatest gift I could ever receive: our daughter.
The most precious blessing in my life, a part of you that Allah chose to entrust to us. 🤍

Looking at our family, I often think about how rare it is to find a person who becomes home.
For me, you have become that.

And I’m convinced that some people don’t just come into our lives by chance.
Some encounters are written long before we can understand their meaning.

Allah has written our story in a way I could never have imagined.
And for this, today more than ever, I say:

Alhamdulillah for you.
Alhamdulillah for us.
Alhamdulillah for every day that Allah grants me to have you by my side.

On your birthday, my wish for you is simple: may Allah grant you everything your heart deserves, may He protect your soul, our family, and your future, and may He grant you health, serenity, happiness, and barakah in every step that comes your way.🤲🏼✨

I hope to see you realize all your dreams, and above all, I hope to still be there beside you to watch them come true.

I love you. Today, tomorrow, and in every chapter Allah chooses to write for us. 🤍

Not the ending we wanted. But a chapter I will always be grateful for. 🤍

It is an honour to have represented the Philippines at this competition for the fourth time in my career, and even more special to have shared it with this group of teammates.

Many of them are still so young, yet I truly believe they have an incredibly bright future ahead of them. I am proud of each one of them, and proud of the journey we made together.

From our first game to our last, the growth of this team was immense. We improved, we learned, we fought, and we became better together.

Alhamdulillah for every moment, every lesson and every opportunity.

Allah reminded me once again to practise my profession with tawakkul, patience and good character — regardless of the result.

I leave this competition grateful, proud and hungry to keep going.

InshaAllah, I hope to wear this shirt again and represent the Philippines in the competitions to come. 🇵🇭

Five years ago, Malaysia was the place where a new chapter of my life began.

Tonight, I return wearing the Philippines shirt, facing Malaysia in a sold-out stadium, with everything to play for.

A special place.
A special night.
One more battle. 🇵🇭

Jumu’ah Mubarak 🤍

Five years ago, I came to Malaysia with only one dream in my heart: to become a better football player.

I had just signed for Penang FC , and every day before training I watched my Muslim teammates stop everything to pray together.

Back then, I didn’t understand what I was witnessing.

But Allah was already writing a story that I couldn’t see.

Without me realizing it, He planted the first seed of Islam in my heart.

Today, after five years, Allah brought me back to the same country.

Not as someone who is searching anymore…

But as a Muslim.

Today I entered the mosque where I found a peace that is impossible to explain with words.

While sitting there after Jumu’ah, I couldn’t stop thinking about how beautifully Allah writes our stories.

Sometimes we believe we’re travelling for football…

For contracts…

For opportunities…

But Allah is taking us somewhere much greater.

Looking back now, I realize football wasn’t the destination.

It was simply the path Allah used to guide me towards Him.

Alhamdulillah for every step of this journey.

“And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him.” (Qur’an 65:3)

Every match leaves something inside you.

Some give you joy.
Some teach you lessons.

This one gave me both.

Proud of the fight.
Proud of my teammates.
Proud to wear these colors.

Now our focus shifts to the next challenge.🇲🇾
