Il progetto è finanziato dalla British Academy e ospitato allo University College London in partenariato con il Dipartimento di Interpretazione e Traduzione dell'Università di Bologna e la British School at Rome. Il gruppo di ricerca lavora con migranti, rifugiati, ONG e istituzioni sanitarie a Roma e nella regione Emilia Romagna, per confrontare diversi approcci all'inclusione dei migranti nella campagna vaccinale COVID-19.
STRIVE contribuisce a raggiungere gli obiettivi posti dall'Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità nel 2017, riguardo l'importanza di fornire informazioni accurate nel contesto di crisi sanitarie, in lingue che il pubblico possa comprendere.
