⚡️ A wonderful way to end 2025!

Pharteco Lab participated in the 2025 edition of “Chimica Sotto l'Albero”, the national conference organised by the Italian Chemical Society, held in the beautiful city of Bari.

This year’s theme, “Building peace through (chemical) bonds”, highlighted the power of scientific collaboration as a bridge between cultures, expertise and innovation.

Our PhD students and postdoc Asaam Eljahesh Rajab, Vita D’Amico, Marianna Ivone, Erica Andriani, Annachiara Ruta, and Xhoi Xibiri, presented their research through posters and oral communications, engaging in stimulating discussions and valuable exchanges with the scientific community 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

A heartfelt thank you to the Polytechnic University of Bari for the warm welcome and excellent organisation, and to SCI Giovani, SCI Puglia and the University of Bari for their outstanding work.

✨ We return home with new ideas, new connections, and even more enthusiasm for research!

🎓 Pharteco Lab al Salone dello Studente 2025!

Ha preso il via alla Fiera del Levante di Bari la 34ª edizione del Salone dello Studente, organizzato da Campus, il principale hub italiano per l’orientamento.
Tre giorni ricchi di incontri, laboratori e aree job dedicati ad aiutare i diplomandi a disegnare il proprio futuro.

Tra gli stand si sono alternati migliaia di ragazzi: c’è chi ha raccolto brochure, chi ha fatto domande per chiarirsi le idee e chi ha iniziato a immaginare il proprio percorso formativo. Alcuni hanno già un sogno preciso, altri lo stanno costruendo passo dopo passo.

👩‍🔬 Pharteco Lab c’era!
Abbiamo presentato le nostre attività di ricerca, le nostre linee di sviluppo e le opportunità di formazione nel campo della tecnologia farmaceutica, incontrando centinaia di studenti curiosi e motivati.

È sempre un piacere contribuire ad accendere nuove vocazioni scientifiche. ✨

Oggi, a Buenos Aires, il Prof. Nunzio Denora ha ricevuto il Dottorato Honoris Causa, un riconoscimento prestigioso che celebra la sua straordinaria carriera accademica, il suo impegno nella ricerca scientifica e il contributo significativo al progresso della tecnologia farmaceutica.
Tutto il gruppo PhartecoLab è orgoglioso di condividere questo importante traguardo e di poter collaborare ogni giorno con un esempio di passione, dedizione e competenza.

The Pharteco Lab team took part in the 5th Conference on Innovation in Drug Delivery, held in Torino from October 1st to 3rd. 💊✨

Prof. Angela Assunta Lopedota presented our lab’s latest research, highlighting ongoing projects and innovative approaches in the field of drug delivery.

Our PhD students, Asaam Eljahesh Rajab, Marianna Ivone, Xhoi Xibiri, Dafina Fondaj , together with our postdoc Vita D’Amico, presented their work through poster presentations, engaging in fruitful discussions and exchanging ideas with fellow researchers. 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

The event offered a great opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen collaborations, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Torino. 🏙️ A rewarding experience for the whole team!

PhartecoLab at the 23rd International Symposium on Microencapsulation

From September 10th to 12th, our team proudly represented PhartecoLab in Ferrara, Italy, at one of the most prestigious international events in the field of microencapsulation 🧪

📍 Our post-doc Vita D’Amico delivered a flash presentation "Innovative Microencapsulation of Amphotericin B for Enhanced Oral Delivery in Cystic Fibrosis Treatment"

📍 Our PhD student Marianna Ivone presented a poster: "Microencapsulation Strategy for Targeted Treatment of Lactose Intolerance: Combining β-galactosidase and Lactobacillus acidophilus"

📍 Two additional posters showcased our group’s innovative research:
"Microencapsulation of Probiotics: A Novel Strategy for Targeted Colon Delivery" and "Rumen-Protected Microparticles for Site-Specific Delivery in Livestock"

This Symposium was not only an opportunity to share our latest scientific advances but also a valuable occasion to connect with international experts, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations.

An incredible experience of learning and growth in microencapsulation research! 💡👏
