For the year 2019 we planted trees for all our guests like we have been doing every year since 2016. This year we planted mostly Birch and Pine. Here are some pictures of the family doing tree planting together as usual. Stay for a tree - When you stay with us, we plant a tree for you🌳

Since 2016 we have been planting trees for all our guests. This year we planted Birch, Cottonwood, and Pine. As usual the whole family does this together. Stay for a tree - For every night you stay, we will plant a tree🌳

Our Story
Stay for a tree - When you stay with us, we plant a tree for you. When it comes to taking care of the environment, every little step counts. This is why we plant a tree for you when you stay with us. We feel that it’s important for the travel industry to reinvest value in the area, and we do this in the form of nature protection and carbon offsets.
Bright studio apartments for two to four persons, with wonderful views to the east over the southern lowlands in the direction of Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull.
The accommodation is located in Ásamýri, about 4 km / 2.5 mi south of Selfoss in southwest Iceland, just a 10 km / 6 mi drive from the south coast.
An ideal location for visiting all the key natural attractions in the South, and good conditions for seeing the northern lights during winter.
Peaceful surroundings in the countryside yet close to all the services available in Selfoss and just 48 km / 30 mi to the capital, Reykjavík.
The apartments have good cooking facilities with all the necessary utensils and tableware. Breakfast is not available. Each apartment has a bathroom with a shower as well as a flatscreen TV and free Wi-Fi. Made-up beds. Open all year.
