Our Story

In the middle of February we opened a bed & breakfast 3 km or 1.8 miles form the village Fludir. There are 6 rooms, a shared kitchen, a small living room and 2 shared bathrooms. In the nearby village you can find a bakery - Sindribakari, a shop, a gas station, a wine shop, 5 restaurants, fresh vegetables directly from the farms, a swimming pool and a geothermal pool, the Secret Lagoon. 12 km or 7.5 miles away you will find the wonderful horse rental Riding Tours South Iceland. We are perfectly situated for day trips to the South coast, the West of Iceland or parts of the Highlands, which makes it convenient to stay a couple of nights. We offer everything you will need for small children. Groups up to 15 people are also welcome.

The farm was “cut” out of the neighbourfarm as heritage to my husbands grandmother. She built our living house in 1947 and lived here until she was 92 years old. My husbands parents built the newer house on the farm, which has now become the guesthouse in 1992. In the summer of 2017 my in-laws decided to move to the city and we bought the farm and are now looking forward to sharing it with you!
