Í gær kynntum við íslenska þjóðbúninginn á Hótel Rangá. Við buðum heimamönnum til okkar í sínu flottasta skarti; þau gengu um hótelið og fræddu gesti um sögu búningsins.

The day kicked off with a lively happy hour where guests could chat with locals at the bar, followed by intimate table-side introductions during dinner. Providing a real insight into this beautiful tradition was such a highlight for us.

We had so much fun that we’re already looking for ways to do this again!

To bring that culture to you, we’ve put together a series of local events throughout May. After today’s visit, we invite you to join us this Saturday for a tasting of Flóki - Icelandic Single Malt Whisky a fantastic local whiskey made right here in Iceland.
