Samsung has become the pioneer of world’s first curved display smartphone with its latest product, Samsung Galaxy Round. Yes, it’s official now, you can find this flexible screen innovation is combined with innovative design features as well. The curved body of the smartphone is pretty sleek and thin with only 7.9mm thick and 154g, comfortable to hold as you grip it in your palm. User can enjoy 5.7-inch full HD super AMOLED display along with round integrated experiences such as Gravity Effect that creates visual interaction by tilting the device.
Even thought the screen is pretty large, Samsung Galaxy Round features useful one-hand operation to allow user to control everything easily from one preferred side of the screen. Larger screen means better multitasking capabilities, you can run multiple applications on one screen, share content between them, and utilize Multi Window feature.

PlanTree Hydroponic plant cultivator has been designed for growing organic food in any kitchen of 2025 households. It allows you to grow organic food from seed to plants. Seeds or seedlings are placed into pot-like cups which are filled with soil substitute materials such as rockwool or coco fiber. Water and nutrients are added to system where they are circulated through plants, a simple interface lets user to set up values such as pH, moisture and light. Plants are grown and cultivated in a controlled microenvironment with water, nutrients and humidity.
The design of this concept allows cultivation of organic food at home with less water and more efficiently, saving time and energy. Designed by Nur Yıldırım, planTree was honored in International Design Awards 2011 with Silver Award in Kitchen Appliances Student Category.

With Piamo, making a cup of espresso doesn’t have to be so hard. Piamo is an espresso maker that works with microwave, it creates a cup of delicious espresso in only 30 seconds. It works great for both ground coffee or pods, this is a great alternative when you don’t have a coffee machine in your office or home, a great product to carry when traveling.
How to make your espresso, first simply fill in water and insert the espresso pod or ground coffee, then stack it, flip it, and place Piamo in the microwave. Now just wait for the microwave to do its magic, the heating pressure builds up and makes water run through coffee, thus, creating fresh espresso straight into your cup in 30 seconds. The next thing you need to do is enjoy your hot espresso and place Piamo in the dishwasher. Easy breeze, isn’t it?

This phone has been designed with a beautiful dual line philosophy, you can see the entire device is combined with 2 finely cut chamfers, visible from every angle, these chamfers run through the sides of device’s sleek and minimalist design.

Squeak all-in-one cleaning tool is practical and efficient, it incorporates cleaning pad, squeegee, and cleaning liquid dispenser in one tool. It’s a clever idea indeed, you can stop messing around between squeegee, cloth, and a bucket of cleaner, just use this tool to clean all those dirty surfaces.

In the future, somewhere in 2050, Joshua Harris has envisioned that we can print our own clothes using Clothing Printer. This project aims to create solution that people have to deal in rapid population which can dramatically change the way we live in the future. This concept printer offers you effortlessly home-based clothing production, thus, eliminating the need for closets, washing machines and dryers, which is good due to the lack of space in crowded urban environment. Based on his research, the designer found that our clothing industry to be an extremely wasteful and inefficient use of our resources. As you probably know, clothing is shipped to several different places before distributed to the consumers. Clothes only have short lifespan like maybe a few years, they’ll end up either being disposed or re-purposed. So, how bout creating a device which can print our clothes from home? Clothing printer concept definitely would increase marketability.

SIMPLcase would be your one and only iPhone case you need to use when traveling. When we travel, our phone would be our main gadget to stay connected, organized, entertained and productive. However, when you keep on using your SIM card, the cost would be really expensive. Local SIM Cards would offer better rate and save you big bucks, you should always try to get local SIM cards when you traveling abroad. The problem is, swapping SIM cards can be a bit challenging, especially when you use iPhone. You need a proper eject tool which is small and easy to get lost or forgotten when packing for a trip. Aside from that, the new nano SIM cards for iPhone 5 are now really small, it would be really easy to lose or accidentally damage it. SIMPLcase offers you the solution for those issues by allowing you to keep eject tool and 3 SIM cards safely inside your phone case. In addition, this case has been designed to allow you to use any standard card (e.g. credit cards, membership cards, ATM cards, etc.) as a stand to either setup your iPhone horizontally or vertically. Taking a bath is something that we can do easily, however, that’s not the case for people with limited mobility, that’s why Elevated Bathtub concept is a great idea. It’s a tub system with an enclosure that can be lifted, thus, getting in and out bathtub is no longer difficult and dangerous for people with limited mobility. This system consists of 2 parts: tub enclosure which can be lifted and the flat base with a showerhead pillar. Lift up the tub to reveal a flat bath area which allows user to step in and out easily without any obstacle. Select “tub bath” mode to slide the enclosure down until it closes with base part and water fills the tub until it’s ready for you to use. After bathing, simply switch off “tub bath” mode to drain the water and lift the tub enclosure, allowing user to step out from the bath area.

As the world’s population is constantly increasing, the space that we have constantly decreases. More and more people are living in confined spaces. In the future our homes and built environments will only decrease in size. With this decrease it is a necessity to use the space we have wisely. One way to do this is through furniture that serves multiple purposes, thus reducing the space a piece of furniture utilizes but increasing the functionality. Benches, Desks and counter tops in there most basic forms are horizontal surfaces at different heights. Working with this idea, this designer has developed the Clockwork Joinery concept. If we are to envision out future we must look and analyze ourselves in the present and respect the past. The past is always relevant and although this concept is designed for future living, it retains a certain aspect of nostalgic charm.
