Paris and Tehran-based art director Aria Kasaei, co-founder of Studiokargah, a multifaceted graphic design studio that encompasses curatorial, research, and archival work around Iranian visual culture. Aria will talk through the breadth of Studiokargah’s acclaimed work across design, publishing, and curating and the structuring of the studio’s research and output through the configurations of the Home, Factory, and Laboratory.
Aria will also delve into approaches to bi-lingual design, the importance of engaging with histories of design and visual culture from the region, and the relationship of design research to public and urban spaces.

Marking the preview opening of Some Seasons: Fereydoun Ave and the Laal Collection, 1959-2019, join us for a conversation led by exhibition co-curators Negar Azimi and Sohrab Mohebbi, with artist, curator, designer, and collector Fereydoun Ave, graphic designer Aria Kasaei, and artist Nazgol Ansarinia.
The conversation will engage with Fereydoun Ave’s singular legacy, both as an artist, and collector and through 13 Vanak, the groundbreaking space he founded in Tehran, launching the careers of countless artists over the two decades it was open.

نمایشگاه «شعر بصری» با مجموعه‌ای از پوسترهای طراحان گرافیک معاصر ایران و به کوشش مجید عباسی (مدیر هنری و سردبیر مجله‌ی نشان) با همکاری موزه‌ی گشتالتونگ زوریخ در حال برگزاری است. همچنین کارگاه‌ها و سخنرانی‌هایی به مناسبت این رویداد، توسط خانم دکتر بتینا ریشتر، مدیر مجموعه برنامه‌ریزی شده است.
همزمان با گشایش این نمایشگاه کتابی حاوی آثار طراحان گرافیک معاصر ایران توسط انتشارات "لارس مولر" منتشر شده است. مقدمه‌ی این کتاب توسط مجید عباسی، بتینا ریشتر و مریم راضی نوشته شده و در دسترس بازدیدکنندگان قرار دارد. این نمایشگاه تا تاریخ ۲۹ اکتبر (۷ آبان) در موزه گشتالتونگ زوریخ ادامه خواهد داشت.

مجموعه‌ای از پوسترهای طراحی‌ شده در استودیوکارگاه و سایر طراحان گرافیک ایرانی اخیرا به مجموعه‌ی عمومی موزه‌ی گشتالتونگ زوریخ اضافه شده است.

The "Visual Poetry" exhibition, featuring a collection of posters by contemporary graphic designers from Iran, curated by Majid Abbasi (Art Director and Editor-in-Chief of Neshan Magazine), in collaboration with the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, is currently taking place. Additionally, workshops and talks have been planned in conjunction with this event, presented by Dr. Bettina Rischter, the collection's director.
Simultaneously with the opening of this exhibition, a book containing works of contemporary Iranian graphic designers has been published by Lars Muller Publishers. The introduction to this book is written by Majid Abbasi, Bettina Rischter, and Maryam Razi, and it's available to visitors. This exhibition will continue until October 29th (November 7th) at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich.
