Spatial Planning Department Participated in a workshop to develop Skyline logo for Duhok city.
Some of our staff with cooperation of other Architects, Planners, Artistes and Partners in Duhok city had a discussion and an excursion inside the city on Monday 18/02/2019 to formulate their main ideas regarding the project.

Identifying Intangible Heritage in Amedi city:

Continuation of workshops on the project of Planning the future of Amedi, that is Funded by the British Council.

According to the KRG, the 6/Jan/2019 will not be holiday in all kurdistan (it is official day), for that students must come to the college otherwise he/she will be absent.

Yesterday 11/12/2018 department of spatial planning (local and german staff) prepared a scientific excursion for our first batch to the Ministry of Planning and Citadel in Erbil, this excursion is a part of the program of the department of Spatial planning for creating an environment for students to understand and be familiar with the geography of all provinces of KRG and exchanging ideas with ministry as well.

This sort of excursion will be continue every year (1st batch to Erbil, 2nd batch to Suleimaniyeh).

Saturday 1/12. The great idea, which lead intrest group into planning and designing based on the priorities of people and what they want as an intrest group, and exchange the ideas between two parts for better understanding the current situation and how to develop Baroshke corridor. For that a group of planners from fourth stage prepared a great meeting (focus group) with the some special people from Kani-Mahmadki, Gali, khabat and sarbasti neighborhoods, with the different skills and jobs to satisfy their needs and prepared new design according to the people’s needs.

Today, November 27 at 11:00 Am, a seminar held in our college of Spatial Planning and Applied Science that addresses the topic of "Sport for development, builds generation and lifestyle" by Mr. Majeed Arshad from GIZ and one of the graduates from department of spatial planning.
