The Directorate of Health services has started a media surveillance center as a part of the Disaster control room (24*7) which is now functioning at the O/o DHS, Government of Kerala. The purpose is to collect health related information/ complaints from various media sources (print & social media) so as to forecast potential disease outbreaks and execute timely prevention and control measures.
If you come across any health related news (lack of medicines, disease occurrence, emergencies etc.…) you just need to whatsApp the details with/ without photo image (if any), source, date & time, place to the following numbers 6282983626 / 6282986880.
The messages will be scrutinized and necessary action will be taken at the earliest.
There is also hundreds of misguiding health advisory messages circulating in many social medias. Kindly consider those circulated by Directorate of Health Services, Govt of Kerala as valid.
Also kindly restrain from spreading rumor messages.

മുറിവിനു ചുറ്റും നീരു , കഠിന വേദന , ചുറ്റുമുള്ള തൊലിക്ക്‌ നിറം മാറ്റം, ചർദ്ധി , വയർ വേദന, അമിതമായ വിയർപ്പ്‌, തലചുറ്റൽ, കണ്ണു മങ്ങൽ, കൺപോള അടയൽ , രണ്ടായിട്ട്‌ കാണൽ, ശ്വാസം മുട്ടൽ, മുറിവിൽ നിന്നും മറ്റും അമിതമായ രക്ത സ്രാവം, ബീപ്പി കുറയൽ എന്നിവയിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ വിഷ പാമ്പാണു കടിച്ചത്‌ എന്ന് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു

ക്ലൊട്ടിംഗ്‌ ടെസ്റ്റാണു പാമ്പ്‌ കടി ഏറ്റ എല്ലാവർക്കും ചെയ്യേണ്ട പരിശോധന
ഒരു വൃത്തിയുള്ള ഉണങ്ങിയ ഗ്ലാസ്‌ ടെസ്റ്റ്‌ റ്റ്യൂബിൽ 2-3 എം എൽ രക്തം എടുത്ത്‌ 20 മിനിറ്റ്‌ നേരം അനക്കാതെ വെക്കുക. 20 മിനിറ്റിനു ശേഷം ചെരിച്ച്‌ നോക്കുക. രക്തം കട്ടപിടിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിൽ വിഷം ഉള്ളിൽ കേറി എന്നുറപ്പിക്കാം. ആന്റി സ്നേക്ക്‌ വെനം ഉടൻ കൊടുക്കണം.
കട്ടപിടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അടുത്ത 3 മണിക്കൂർ നേരം എല്ലാ 30 മിനിറ്റിലും ടെസ്റ്റ്‌ ആവർത്തിക്കുകയാണു നല്ല്ത്‌. അതിനൊപ്പം പുതിയ രോഗ ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് നോക്കുക. പൾസ്‌ ബീപ്പി‌ ശ്വസനം എന്നിവ മോണിറ്റർ ചെയ്യുക
എല്ലാതും കട്ടപിടിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, രോഗിക്ക്‌ വേറെ പ്രശ്നമൊന്നും ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ, വിഷം കേറിയിട്ടില്ലാ എന്ന് ഏകദേശം ഉറപ്പിക്കാം
