In Narada Purana, Shri Krishna says to Sage Narada,
"satyam satyam punah satyam satyam eva punah punah vina radha prasadena mat-prasado na vidyate " - Shri Krishna says: "O Narada! I tell you truly, truly, again truly, truly, again and again - without the mercy of Shrimati Radharani, one cannot attain my mercy."

Thus, let’s all of us celebrate the most auspicious day on the earth today which is the appearance day of our ‘Laadli’ thakurani Srimati Radharani.

Graham time - Tomorrow 8th Nov morning from 4:10 am till 7:06 am.

Sutak time - 9:21 am tomorrow (8th Nov IST) morning till 6:18 pm tomorrow evening.

Grahan time - 5:32 pm and ends at 6:18 pm.

Please put tulsi leaves in all food items and keep one in temple at your home before 9:21 amd tomorrow morning . Close temple doors or cover the temple area from a clean cloth before 9:21 am tomorrow morning.

Once grahan ends, take bathe, clean your temples and do the pooja and then continue with your daily chores.

Try to be awake during grahan time, do chanting or kirtan and think of Your beloved Lord. Don’t use washroom during grahan time and don’t eat or drink anything during that time.

So finally Kartika Damodar month has arrived. Please wake up early morning and then offer Ghee lamp daily to Shri RadhaDamodara & Tulsi Maharani ( in both morning and evening). Let’s all pledge to do atleast one round of chanting of Hare Krishna mahamantra (if possible try to increase the changing rounds). Also, try to observe Kartika Vrat/ Damodar vrat by not eating onion, garlic, tomatoes, sesame seeds or oil, mustard seeds or oil, loki, parmal, urad dal and honey. Daily do harinaam kirtan, listen to pastimes of Sri RadhaDamodara.

This Kartika month bring home light, auspiciousness, positivity, and cleanse you home and heart with the sound vibration in the name of Krishna "Kirtan". As, Krishna is non different from him his name. His name has the same potency as Krishna himself.

Janmashtami reminds us of an irrepressible child, a terrible liar, an awesome flute player, a graceful dancer, a valiant warrior, a man who left a broken heart in every home, an astute statesman & kingmaker & a yogi at the highest level

In the end the when fighting and wearing warrior code was a necessity for righteousness he taught entire series of Dharma, Yoga, Karma, relationship and every lesson on battle field while guiding his friend as a teacher, which remains as history.

So, let’s celebrate our sweetest Krsna’s birthday by doing lots of harinaam and kirtan.
