IEEE NPSS VIT joins the league of other prominent professional student chapter functioning at a university campus in the academic year of 2014-15. Energy & relative terminologies govern the modernization of this gargantuan society. Nuclear and Plasma sciences which is a confluence of several disciplines excavates the riches of renewable and non-renewable source of energy though there is ambiguity in the contradictory justification placed by researchers.

Nuclear desalination has been defined as the use of both electricity and heat generated by nuclear power plant to remove salt and minerals from seawater. It has accumulated a couple of hundred of reactor-years of successful operations around the globe. It is a sustainable source of energy and potable water that could help to cope with the current problems to access potable water and electricity

Nuclear imaging produces images by detecting radiation from different parts of the body after a radioactive tracer material is administered. The images are recorded on computer and on film. Different types of nuclear imaging tests have different preparation instructions.

Here in the event we discuss about various pros and cons of that impact. Be it from producing radioactive waste to reduction in the exploitation of the fossil fuel reserves.
