A monk at the National Stock Exchange? 😊
Recently, I was invited to participate in the Entrepreneurship & Innovators Summit at NSE, Mumbai, and was humbled to be recognised for contributions towards the Viksit Bharat vision.
A special congratulations to Umesh Ji on the launch of his fourth book, IP to IPO.
What stayed with me most, however, were the questions that emerged during the discussion:
🔹 What will it take for India to become a Viksit Bharat?
🔹 Can India become a Viksit Bharat without decolonising its mindset?
🔹 What is the true purpose of education?
More reflections soon.
Are we chasing success — or just the feeling of it?

Last week, I had a thoughtful exchange with 50+ professors and educators from across Maharashtra at a program organized by Maharashtra State Faculty Development Academy and hosted by ISKCON GEV.
During our discussion, I raised a question that has occupied my mind for many years:
**Our institutions have many Dronas. But who is playing Krishna’s role?**
We are teaching skills, preparing students for careers, and helping them succeed.
But are we also helping them cultivate inner strength?
That question felt especially relevant as we reflected on the tragic loss of seven students at a single campus over 18 months.
Sometimes I wonder whether our students need more than knowledge and opportunities. Perhaps they also need guidance, purpose, and someone willing to ask the deeper questions of life.
After the session, several faculty members stayed back to continue the discussion and pick up copies of *Living the Gita* and *Wisdom That Works*.
Those conversations were among the most meaningful parts of the day.

I am not entirely comfortable with book signings.
Honestly it feels a little awkward.
Someone standing there waiting for your signature
as if you are someone special.
But when a friend called and said,
"I'm not buying it from Amazon.
I want a copy from your hands.
With your blessing."
I didn't know how to respond.
I think I laughed nervously first.
And then it hit me.
Some people buy books because of the title.
Some because of the topic.
He was waiting because of the person.
That is a different kind of reader.
And perhaps the most valuable kind.
And that made me reflect on every person
who shaped this journey.
My buddies and faculty at Vellore Institute of Technology
taught me the importance of direction.
Success follows direction.
My years at The Ohio State University taught me
patience in the face of struggle.
Working alongside my manager Daniel Hoffman
at Juniper Networks taught me:
Don't wait for the right conditions.
Be proactive.
My spiritual teacher HH Radhanath Maharaj and other mentors taught me the sacredness of life.
The meaning of love.
And the importance of giving back.
My parents and family raised me with one instruction that never left me.
Be responsible.
In everything.
For everything.
And to every friend, well-wisher and quiet prayer along the way
—you contributed more than you know.
Looking back, Wisdom That Works and its LEAD framework
—Life, Emotions, Action, Dharma
—was not something I designed at a desk.
My buddies at VIT gave me direction.
Ohio gave me patience.
Daniel Hoffman at Juniper gave me the spirit of action.
My spiritual teacher gave me dharma.
Across four decades, one framework quietly took shape.
This book is simply where it arrived.
And now, it's yours.
If you choose to read it,
I hope you find within its pages even a fraction of the wisdom so many people shared with me along the way.
Wisdom That Works is now available on Amazon and leading bookstores.
And yes, I would be honoured to sign a copy for anyone who reaches out.

Have we correctly diagnosed the cause of our frustration?”

Part 3: बचें कैसे?
Part 1: फिर विश्वास किस पर करें?
Part 2: असली शत्रु कौन है?
It is easy to discuss someone else’s downfall.
More important is to learn how to protect ourselves from making the same mistake.
