The only turf wicket in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts was at the End Point Grounds here and it belonged to the Manipal University.The university would enhance the seating capacity of its stadium at End Point to 8,000.

In the first phase of development of the stadium, a state-of-the-art pavilion would be built within a year. The remaining development of the stadium would be taken up in phases, Prof. Ballal said.

A beautiful river runs below the hilly area. Trekking down the place is very very exciting, encountering all sorts of plants and going through the areas of dense vegetation down the plane.
