Due to the sudden closure of various flagship programmes by Hagrama Mohilary led BTC, allegedly 1500 youths, mostly from the Bodo Community have lost their jobs. This is deeply unfortunate and it shows that the government is not interested in empowering the youths.
The alleged perpetrators of Zubeen Garg’s murder were brought to Baksa district yesterday for two reasons: first, to remove them from the constant glare of media attention; and second, because the state government is not yet prepared to handle the large-scale protests that are expected to erupt soon
We strongly condemned this cowardly act of the state government. We need justice for . Take them to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Bodoland People's Front - BPF on the wrong side of the history
During the tenure of the Hon’ble Pramod Boro-led BTR Government, all District Commissioners of the region functioned under the guidance of the BTC authorities, ensuring coordinated implementation of development works in their respective districts.
The Principal Secretary was also empowered to prepare an annual performance assessment of the District Commissioners for submission to the Personnel Department, Government of Assam. However, following Hagrama Mohilary’s swearing-in as Chief of BTC, the District Commissioners of BTR have been placed under the direct supervision of Dispur. This shift not only undermines the Hagrama administration’s ability to execute developmental initiatives but also constitutes a clear violation of the BTR Accord.

Hagrama Mohilary's political career appears to be nearing its end within the next five years after he endorsed the move in his election manifesto to issue a No Objection Certificate for granting ST status to six non-tribal communities in Assam.
