What is the best mode of a formal or sometimes a casual communication???????
Obvious answer would be- E mails.
Let's increase a bit knowledge about the origin of e-mails.
The First ever e-mail or e-mail system was created by "Raymond Samuel Tomlinson" in 1971 on the APRANET.
This system was considered to be able to send mails in between users connected to different hosts of APRANET.
And from here comes the "@" in action to separate each user connected to APRANET.
Thanx Mr. Tomlinson for making life so easy and arranged.
Interestingly the first e-mail which was sent by Raymond Samuel Tomlinson was sent to Raymond Samuel Tomlinson himself.

World's First Public Cinema Hall: The first theater in the world exclusively devoted to showing motion pictures was the Nickelodeon, which was opened on June 19, 1905 in Pittsburgh, Penn.

The theater was the creation of Harry Davis and John P. Harris who moved 96 seats into an empty store at 433-435 Smithfield St., transforming it into the world's first movie theater. The name was based on the cost of admission to the theater (a nickel) and the Greek word for theater (odeon).

The theater was the first to show films all day long and among the first films shown were Poor But Honest and The Baffled Burglar. The theater was a stunning success and thousands of nickelodeons began appearing in cities all across America.

First and Highest Denomination of Currency Note...

To deal with hyperinflation that reached the ludicrous level of 231 million % and saw the price for a loaf of bread hit 300 billion Zimbabwean dollars, Zimbabwe's newly formed unity government — including bitter opponents President Robert Mugabe and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai — issued a $100 trillion note in early January. (One hundred trillion, by the way, is a 1 with 14 zeroes — making the note the highest denomination in the world.)

World's First Search Engine - - - ARCHIE

Alan Emtage invented the world's first search engine, but he didn't earn a single cent from his groundbreaking invention. "I wrote a piece of code that gave birth to a multibillion-dollar industry," he tells The Huffington Post in an exclusive video interview. "I didn't make any money off of it, but I wouldn't change anything."

The self-proclaimed geek majored in computer science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and was working as a systems administrator for the School of Computer Science, where he was responsible for finding software for students and faculty. At the time, there was no other way to locate the software beyond a manual search through the directory archives, a "tedious process" that he decided to automate.

"We built this very simple program that allowed people to do the search themselves," the native of Barbados says. The program needed a name, so Emtage called it "Archie," which is "archive" without the V. Within months, half the internet traffic to Canada was going to the innovator's machine.

"At the time, nobody was making money off of the Internet, and we didn't patent any of the original ideas behind Archie," he explains. "So the patents would have been where I would have made the money." Archie used the same techniques that every current search engine uses, so, Emtage adds, "in that way, Archie was the great great grandfather of Google and all of those other search engines."

Today, the Search industry earns $780 billion dollars annually. Emtage sees none of that money, but he is completely at ease with it. "I don't feel like a father of anything," he states. "It's not how I think of myself really ... Every now and again, I interact with somebody who's a real idiot, and I think to myself, 'Yeah, but you know what? I invented the search engine.'"

While taking a soak, inventor John Shepherd-Barron devised what is hailed as the world's first automatic teller machine, although his claim to the title is a matter of dispute. He pitched the device to the British bank Barclays. It accepted immediately, and the first model was built and installed in London in 1967. Though the machine used PIN (personal identification number) codes, a concept Shepherd-Barron also claims to have invented, it was dependent on checks impregnated with the (slightly) radioactive isotope carbon 14 to initiate a withdrawal, as the magnetic coding for ATM cards had not yet been developed. One other difference from its ubiquitous modern counterpart: it didn't charge a fee.
