Devyani Joshi (Grade XI F) had the honour of participating in the three-day International Nepal–Bharat Literary Festival held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 29 to 31 May 2026. Representing Rajasthan, she presented a traditional Rajasthani folk dance during the inaugural session chaired by the former Prime Minister of Nepal.

During the festival, she was privileged to be conferred with the International Nepal–Bharat Youth Icon Award by Charu Sahitya Pratishthan, Nepal, in association with Nepal–Bharat Sahitya Mahotsav, Nepal, in recognition of her contribution to cultural and literary exchange between India and Nepal.

The honour reflects the enduring power of youth-led cultural engagement in fostering goodwill, mutual appreciation, and meaningful dialogue across border.

With over 18 years of experience in leadership development and learning transformation, she engaged educators in reflective discussions on self-leadership, behavioural impact and the evolving dimensions of effective leadership in education.

The session encouraged participants to embrace responsibility, adaptability, and purpose-driven leadership, inspiring educators to redefine their role as influential mentors and transformative leaders in contemporary education.

Mr. Siddharth Singh Rathore successfully completed the 101 Junior Division Refresher Course (JDRC) conducted at Air Force Station Tambaram from 27 April to 23 May 2026 under the guidance of Mr Rajesh Chandra.

The intensive course encompassed physical training, yoga, drill, sports, and academic sessions, nurturing discipline, endurance, leadership and camaraderie. An enriching visit to the ATC and hangar area offered firsthand exposure to aircraft including the HAL Chetak helicopter, MiG aircraft and gliders.

His successful completion of the course stands as a reflection of dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to the ethos of NCC.

Students of Maharana Mewar Public School embarked on an enriching educational expedition to Leh–Ladakh from 19 to 26 May 2026. The group of 31 students from Grades VII–XII, accompanied by Hon. Director Mr. S. K. Sharma and educators Ms. Shweta Sukhwal, Ms. Shipra Bhojak, and Mr. Dhawal Raj Mali, experienced a journey that extended far beyond conventional classroom learning.

Amidst the breathtaking Himalayan landscape, students explored iconic destinations including Khardung La Pass, Changla Pass, Pangong Lake, Magnetic Hill, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Hall of Fame—deepening their understanding of history, patriotism, spirituality, and Ladakh’s rich cultural heritage.

The expedition was equally thrilling, featuring adventure activities such as zip lining, ATV rides, and the unique Bactrian camel safari across the Hunder Sand Dunes. Visits to Thang Village near the Indo–Pak border and the culturally vibrant village of Turtuk, including an interaction with the present king Yabgo Mohd Khan Kacho at the historic Turtuk Palace, offered meaningful insights into heritage conservation and sustainable living in remote mountain communities. The serene Diskit Monastery and majestic Maitreya Buddha statue left a lasting impression on all.

Adding an academic dimension to the journey, students attended the Astro Week Seminar organised by the Department of Tourism, Ladakh, and the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru, where renowned scientists and experts inspired curiosity about astronomy, space science, and the cosmos.

The visit to Druk Padma Karpo School, famously known as the “Rancho School” from *3 Idiots*, further encouraged students to value creativity, innovation, and experiential learning through its unique educational philosophy and sustainable infrastructure.

From vibrant cultural experiences and meaningful local interactions to moments of adventure amidst snow-clad mountains, the Leh–Ladakh Educational Tour 2026 emerged as a transformative journey—nurturing resilience, camaraderie, adaptability, confidence, and global awareness.

The Music Department curated an Inter-House Solo Dance Competition for Classes III–V with 35 participants, the stage came alive with expressive performances reflecting both skill and spirit. Judged by Mr. Anil Paneri and Mrs. Sunita Sharma, the event celebrated rhythm, creativity, and confidence.

Graceful classical presentations by Miss Shanaya Nagori (Kathak) and Miss Manasvi Marmatha (Bharatanatyam) enriched the occasion.

The event concluded on a vibrant note, reinforcing students’ connection with India’s rich dance heritage.

The Hindi Department of Maharana Mewar Public School, The City Palace, Udaipur, organised a series of literary activities fostering eloquence and critical thinking across sections.

The senior Inter-House Hindi Debate on “Artificial Intelligence: A Boon or a Bane?” featured insightful arguments balancing technological promise with ethical concerns. The junior debate on “Dialogue, Not Violence, is Essential for World Peace” reflected clarity and conviction among participants.

Additionally, a Storytelling Competition for Classes I–V on “Value-Based Stories” showcased creativity and moral expression.
The events were conducted under the guidance of Dr. Lori Paliwal, Dr. Sunita Sharma, and Mr. Manoj Ameta, with storytelling mentored by Mrs. Kavita Jain and Mrs. Rita Joshi.

The Inter-House Nutri Drink Making Competition, themed “Beat the Heat,” was conducted on 2 May 2026 for Grades I to V. Young learners participated enthusiastically, preparing a variety of healthy and refreshing beverages that reflected creativity, confidence, and awareness of nutritious choices.

Fostering scientific curiosity and eco-conscious innovation, the Vikram Sarabhai Science Club organised the Inter-House Scientific Principle-Based Toy Making Competition for Classes VI to VIII on 30 April 2026. Students showcased imaginative eco-friendly toys based on scientific concepts. In the Individual Category, First Position was secured by Shivarth Mehta and Saumya Laddha (Grade VIII, Agni House), followed by Fatima Gandhi (Grade VIII) and Uday Porwal (Grade VII) of Vayu House in Second Position, while Aarush Choudhary (Grade VIII) and Dev Pratap Singh (Grade VII) of Prithvi House secured Third Position. In the overall House standings, Agni House emerged First, followed by Vayu, Prithvi, Jal, and Aakash Houses.

Further celebrating scientific insight and innovation, the Department of Science conducted an Inter-House Working Model Making Competition on 25 April 2026 in the Physics Laboratory. Jayal Jain (Grade X A) and Shanaya Nagori (Grade IX B) of Jal House secured First Position, followed by Granth Vijayvargiya (Grade XI A) and Iram Jaipury (Grade XI D) of Aakash House in Second Position. Third Position was awarded to Juhi Mehta (Grade XI A) and Gemini Purbia (Grade XI D) of Aakash House. In the overall House standings, Aakash House secured First Position, followed by Agni, Vayu, Prithvi, and Jal Houses.

The school delegation of nine students demonstrated exceptional diplomacy and intellectual depth at the Model United Nations Debates hosted by Heritage Girls School, Eklingji, from 28–29 April 2026.

Exhibiting remarkable poise across committees, the students secured distinguished accolades: in UNHRC, Saumya Sankhla (Grade XI Humanities) was awarded Best Delegate, Dhara Jain (Grade XII Science) received a Special Mention, and Shreya Maheshwari (Grade XII Commerce) earned a Verbal Mention; in SOCHUM, Paridhi Sethi (Grade XII Humanities) was conferred the Best Delegate award; while in International Press (Journalism), Shuchi Joshi (Grade XI Humanities) received a High Commendation.

The awards were presented by Dr. Pavan Chaurasia, a noted scholar of international relations and policy analyst associated with India Foundation, along with Ms. Amita Tiwari, Principal of Heritage Girls School. The opening ceremony was graced by Mr Archit Ojha ( UNICEF Climate Advocate).

The delegation also witnessed active participation from Aahana Aarohi (Grade X), Devyani Joshi (Grade XI), Swasti Joshi (Grade XI), and Jaskirat Kaur (Grade XII Humanities), reflecting the team’s collective spirit and engagement.
The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Manoj Ameta.
