New recipe trial. Quick Malpua.
Made this Quick "Mango Malpua" today. And it came out just fantastic.
Malpua date back back 3000 years in time. Several Vedic scriptures make note of 'apupa' which is said to be the earliest form of Malpua. Apupa was a sweet cake where barley flour was either fried in ghee or boiled in water, and then dipped in honey.
It is one of the Chapana Bhoga of Lord Jagannath and is included in the evening mahaprasad.
