RobinGood is a compassionate person who wants to help the community and the underprivileged amongst us. Our platform helps support that. So, who is a #RobinGood?
RobinGood project aspires to trigger an altruistic movement where small help becomes a way of life for a large number of people and create a big change in society. It aims to enable each one of us to help needy people on a regular basis either by investing time or money or both. One of the challenges that several in the society feel today is lack of trust in institutions. There are many causes and
non governmental organizations that channel resources towards these causes however individuals do not have direct linkage to such NGOs and have to rely on their credibility.
#RobinGood platform will enable folks known to you to start a donation campaign and manage it directly. In a way, we are hoping to create thousands of 1-man NGOs working in a small way. A #RobinGood is a compassionate person who wants to help the community and the underprivileged among st us by committing time and/or money. This platform makes it easy for friends and family of a #RobinGood to contribute resources and donations and make his good deeds even more effective. We are starting as a FB group but will eventually run on a mobile application platform. A RobinGood App shall support campaign and fundraising in minutes. It shall support launch of a fund where a #RobinGood can invite friends and family to commit a certain amount every month. This fund can then be used to have direct and effective impact among the community and its members. A #RobinGood may help cancer patients, students who need tuition help, distribute blankets to the homeless or take care of street dogs. The campaign can be as per the cause of the #RobinGood. Our platform helps a #RobinGood to champion a social cause and make it easy for friends and family to pool in resources and empower the RobinGood in carrying out the campaign or program. The platform shall also allow #RobinGood to post updates, pictures, videos and other information related to the campaign that shall be distributed to the donors of the campaign. We serve three Stakeholders:

#Donor: Friends, Family and anyone who trusts #RobinGood, and would like to help the underprivileged or to support a cause. They may/may not be able to devote time, and would like to devote money
#Beneficiary: Causes and Community in need;
Our aim is to empower individuals and not rely on institutions for change.
