Darkness of the night passes as the light of the day engulfs earth. But things don't happen all at a time - they take their time.

The same happens with our Life. Things happen for a purpose and at their own time - the right time. Soooooo, don't despair. Have heart.. Things will change, but at the right time!

What makes one great- money or something else?

After my better half left me for her heavenly abode and i landed up in Jagannath Puri for her last rites, not knowing how to start my new life, someone came from nowhere. She is my niece whom I had met only once before and that was long years back. She gave me shelter, though she is working for quite a few years, in a Government office, her job is outsourced and so is her husband's. Both are getting pittance in terms of salary and living always under the threat of being thrown away from their job any time. Still under these circumstances they came forward to shelter me.

This stark reality has made me sit up and think - how can a Government job be outsourced for decades and the employee cannot be made permanent and no benefits that are available to others are not made so for them? How can the label of outsourcing be given to a function of the same establishment that selected, employed and paid from is own funds directly to the employee? Should I label the label of outsourcing as jugglery of sorts or chicanery or a legal fraud? What the judiciary is doing, but then saying anything about today's judiciary will be like like trying to show the mirror after the darkness that engulfes after surya ka ant.

Now coming back to my question - what makes one great - money or peace of mind and how one can have such peace of mind and magnanimity even under such stressful circumstances? Hats off to you my niece, really one can learn how one can make life so beautiful even under such stressful circumstances. God bless you and bring some sanity to the Government and the judiciary and shake them up to the reality - the inhumanity they are causing: one through chicanery and their other one behind its blind folded identity!

26 January 1950 was the day when the Constitution of India came on force and India became a Republic.

26 January 2025 the country goes to celebrate the 75 years of the above. All these years, the country has gone through a lot of upheavals - highs and lows, ups and downs Good and bad days, but the constitution that came in force on this day in 1950 still holds us and the country together. That's the force of the constitution. A constitution is important because it protects citizens' rights, establishes a framework for governance, and promotes stability and democracy.

So let's all learn a lesson - let's write our own constitution and implement it in our own lives today. Let's define our values, our responsibilities and our boundaries and live by it, no matter what.

A tree shapes out of a seed and our body similarly comes out of our mind. Like the body, the mind also is subject to various forms of illness and what is devastating is most of our physical ailments take shape in the mind.

But how many of us realise this and try to go to the root to eliminate the real causes of our illness? Unfortunately, we do not give the importance to this aspect and think that taking care of the body is all that matters.

To a great extent this stems from our lack of knowledge about the whole process of how our mind controls every aspect of our physical body and the reason comes from our ignorance about this fact. This is where the psychologists, therapists and counsellors have a role to play - bring in the awareness to the masses.

However, this calls for the psychologists, therapists and counsellors to understand and sharpen their tools and be self confident. This comes from ones expertise, the expertise doesn't only come from practical engagement as Psychologists, Therapists and Counsellors in hospitals, which takes a lot of time and makes one master in only any one part of the therapy, whereas there are multitudes of therapies and not one therapy fits all. Therefore, it is necessary that they must have mastery over all the therapies with practical practice to hone up their skills.
