Happy New Year - 2025 and Atelier Dsync is proud to announce its global presence and now officially an International Design Practice with projects spaning pan global. With more than 20+ years of experience and 12+ years of private practice, we are entering into a phase of re-inventing our practice as a strategy to dwell into research, innovation and experimentation in the realm of creative and resilient built environment. 2025 will be a game changer for our future endeavors. "Moving India towards sanitation for all"
An interesting project in collaboration with UMC and Misaal Programme by USAID. Here is an attempt to introduce an inclusive place making strategy to engage community to be part of the decision making process. Bottom-up approach has been adopted to understand the needs and aspirations of the end-user through field survey and documentation of the existing condition. To imbibe sense of ownership design charrette has been used as a mode of interaction along with tool kits to create an abstract diagram fulfilling the needs of the community through a democratic process. This is to demonstrate "Design has the power to bring social change". This our way of expressing - " Ek Kadam Pragati ki aur". Jai Hind!

On “World Heritage Day” this post reminds me of the profound relationship between architecture and nature that was understood in Indian history and it’s tangible expressions by various rulers / dynasties / stylistic traditions etc....but what surely remains at the fore is the “in depth understanding” of this force of nature and how architecture “should and can” have the capacity to respect it, address it, enhance it and celebrate it.....but surely not ruin it !! During this particular historical hour in the event of the pandemic COVID-19, it’s time to “rethink about this profound understanding” that our culture had and revisit it’s important moments of glory and thereby reinvent our understanding of the same 😊❤️ #

ADS unveils our new on-going commercial project the "OZ House" at Surat. As a methodical practice, we experimented with "sculpted apertures" derived from the canopies of trees in and around this site as a design element to connect indoor and outdoor environment.
