Veil of Solitude

Captured on a windswept beach before a storm, Veil of Solitude explores the quiet tension between fragility and freedom. The subject, draped in sheer fabric, stands suspended between surrender and resistance. Nothing was rehearsed; the wind shaped the scene, becoming an unplanned collaborator. In that brief moment, light, motion, and emotion aligned.

What began as a fleeting moment by the sea, became Veil of Solitude.

Honored to have this photograph win 2nd place in the Public Group - Portray Each Moment category at the OnePlus Photography Awards 2025. A gentle reminder that silence too has a story to tell.

This series is close to my heart - a quiet encounter where fog softened the world and the elephant stood as a symbol of strength, grace, and stillness. Moments like these remind me why I pick up the camera: to preserve the poetry hidden in the ordinary.

‘Foggy Elephant’ — Truly honoured to receive recognition in the Mobile Photo One Shot Category for this image. What began as a spontaneous click on my phone turned into something much more — a reminder that even the simplest tools can tell powerful stories.

For me, photography has always been about noticing the extraordinary in the everyday. This award is a quiet nod to the value of passion, patience, and a bit of faith.
