In his First Major Administrative Decision after taking oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Vijay on Tuesday Ordered the Closure of 717 state-run liquor retail outlets operating near places of worship, Educational Institutions and Bus Stands Across the State.

| CM Omar Abdullah today inaugurated the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex at Government Degree College, Tangmarg, developed at a cost of ₹2.75 crore.

Addressing a public gathering, the Chief Minister said such infrastructure would provide better opportunities to youth, promote sporting activities and help nurture talent at the grassroots level.
