*Kanispora Road Turns Into a Hazard Zone: Asiya Iqbal Demands Immediate Government Intervention Before Tragedy Strikes*

Asiya Iqbal, Social Activist and General Secretary of Aafarwat XI Sports Club Baramulla, has once again raised serious concern over the worsening condition of the road near the petrol pump at Kanispora, Baramulla, urging the administration to act before a major accident occurs.

She stated that she had previously appealed to the concerned authorities regarding the damaged road, blocked drains, and gutters overflowing with filthy stagnant water. Unfortunately, despite repeated requests, no substantial action has been taken, leaving residents to suffer daily.

Asiya Iqbal said that the road has become a nightmare for commuters, particularly students, elderly citizens, women, and patients who rely on the route for access to schools, hospitals, and essential services. The deteriorating condition not only causes inconvenience but also poses a serious threat to public safety.

She warned that the chances of a tragic accident are increasing with each passing day, especially considering that dozens of school buses and public transport vehicles use this road regularly. The lives of innocent schoolchildren and local residents should not be put at risk due to administrative negligence.

"It is unfortunate that despite repeated public appeals, the authorities have failed to address such a basic civic issue. Are we waiting for a tragedy before action is taken?" she questioned.

Asiya Iqbal strongly appealed to the Government and district administration to immediately undertake road repairs, clear the blocked drains and gutters, and ensure proper maintenance of public infrastructure in the area. She emphasized that the people of Kanispora deserve safe roads, clean surroundings, and prompt administrative attention.

Beyond Borders, Into Classrooms: Indian Army Powers Young Dreams in Baramulla

By Shahid Nazeer

Baramulla: In a classroom filled with curiosity and ambition, a group of students gathered around newly installed computers, their eyes reflecting excitement, hope, and endless possibilities. For many of them, this was more than the arrival of technology it was the opening of a door to a future they had only imagined.

In a remarkable gesture aimed at strengthening education and empowering youth, the Baramulla Brigade of the Indian Army donated computers to GAASH Academy, Baramulla. While the donation itself may appear modest in numbers, its impact is expected to resonate far beyond the walls of the institution.

In an era where digital literacy has become essential for academic success and career growth, access to technology remains a challenge for many students. Recognising this need, the Indian Army extended its support to ensure that young learners are not left behind in the rapidly evolving digital age.

For the students of GAASH Academy, the computers represent opportunity. They provide access to knowledge, skill development, online learning resources, and a pathway to compete in a world increasingly driven by technology.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the institution, Sheikh Mudasir, Founder of GAASH Academy, described the contribution as an investment in the future of hundreds of young minds.

"These computers are not merely machines; they are instruments of learning, growth, and transformation. They will help our students acquire valuable digital skills and broaden their horizons. We are deeply thankful to the Indian Army for believing in the power of education and supporting our mission of empowering youth," he said.

What makes the initiative particularly meaningful is the message it conveys that nation-building is not confined to borders alone. It is also reflected in classrooms, libraries, and educational institutions where the next generation is being prepared to shape the country's future.

Over the years, the Indian Army has earned the respect of people not only through its commitment to national security but also through numerous initiatives focused on education, healthcare, youth engagement, and community welfare. The support extended to GAASH Academy is a continuation of that enduring relationship between the Army and the people it serves.

As students begin their journey with these new learning tools, the donation stands as a reminder that meaningful change often starts with simple acts of support. A computer placed on a desk today may become the foundation of a future engineer, teacher, entrepreneur, researcher, or leader tomorrow.

In the mountains and valleys of Kashmir, where aspirations are as vast as the landscape itself, such initiatives illuminate pathways of hope. By investing in education, the Indian Army is not merely providing technology it is nurturing dreams, unlocking potential, and helping write a brighter chapter in the lives of young learners.

For the students of GAASH Academy, these computers are more than machines. They are symbols of opportunity, confidence, and a future filled with possibilities.
