Revenue collection is the backbone of our department’s growth and stability. It directly impacts development works, employee welfare, and the future of KPDCL. A strong point for debate with higher-ups (for our legitimate demands):
When employees consistently deliver results by improving revenue collection and reducing losses, the department must also fulfill its responsibility by ensuring fair promotions, regularization, adequate safety measures, and timely service benefits. Performance and sacrifice must be matched with dignity, job security, and career growth. Otherwise, employee motivation and long-term efficiency will inevitably suffer.
Therefore, all employees are earnestly requested to make strong and sincere efforts to achieve the revenue targets, while we, as a union, continue to firmly pursue our rightful demands.

One more PDL worker has been electrocuted and fell down from HT frame at Shopian. The department has stated that the feeder was under fault.
Mohd Kasim Wani sustained a severe head injury along with multiple fractures in his back. He is currently battling for his life. I humbly request everyone to please pray for his recovery.
Once again, a family has been shattered. The family has no option left but to sell their household belongings to arrange money for the treatment of their sole breadwinner.
On the other hand, if any SPO in the Police Department gets injured or loses his life, the department bears all medical and other expenses. Unfortunately, we working in the PDD have been unheard for a long time.
Nobody is listening. Nobody is seeing. Nobody is understanding.
We strongly demand immediate financial assistance, full medical coverage, and job security for the injured worker’s family, along with strict accountability of the concerned officials. The lives of PDD workers are not expendable and must be treated with dignity and justic

Daily Wager Dies on Duty in Srinagar, Family Seeks Compassionate Job for Widow Srinagar: Late Bashir Ahmad Rather, S/o Late Ali Mohd Rather, resident of Arabal Shalimar, Srinagar, was working as a daily wager with the Electric Department for the last 15 years. Tragically, he lost his life while on duty during a night shift at Dalgate, performing his responsibilities with dedication. He is survived by his wife and children, who are now facing immense hardship. His wife, Mehnaz Bashir, is living a miserable life with no stable source of income, as her husband was the sole breadwinner and only a daily wager. She earnestly appeals to the LG Administration and Hon’ble CM Omar Abdullah to kindly look into her case and provide her a job on compassionate grounds, so she can sustain her family with dignity.
