The hill you see in our cover picture is Karol. It is a good half a day hike to and fro. We highly recommend you go for this hike.

We have a small hike behind our place that leads to a mini waterfall and a mini lake. The short 15-20 minute hike is a great way to start your day.

We have a farm 30 minutes drive away and our guests have suggested that we make it a part of the package after we took a few of them there.

It's a work in progress and not all of it is completely under agrarian activity thus leaving out a lot of space for our guests to hang out in. You get a private hill for your own little picnic.

Needless to say, just like our homestay it's a pet friendly farm provided your pet is comfortable with other farm animals.

The hill you see in our cover picture is Karol (2100 m or 7000 ft). Its a half an hour car ride to the base and then a 6km hike which takes about 3.5-4 hours.

Mount Karol boasts of the longest cave in the Himalayas (28km long) which ends in Pinjore.

According to legends, the Pandavas rested in Panchpura (Pinjore) during their agyatvaas (exile). As Shakuni (Kaurava’s maternal uncle) desired to burn them alive, he built a house of lacquer (lakshagrih) for the Pandavas.

However, when Bhisham Pitamah learnt of this treachery, he had a long cave dug from Panchpura to Karol Mountain. He thus helped Pandavas escape through this tunnel like cave to Karol, where they stayed for five years.
